Convergys lays off employees

Convergys pulled out WALMART from Makati City Philippines and sent all employees under Walmart to different accounts. After a few months, we learned that Convergys and Walmart relocated to Bacoor Philippines because the cost of living in that place was lower - meaning the salary they'd give out to the employees would be a lot lower than the salary they give out to the employees in Makati City. Unbelievable. I'm so glad I resigned.

It is not the reduction of the customers operations. It IS the fact that the customer FIRED Convergys for sloppy management and substandard training.

Same here in the Philippines. I actually moved to convergys last december and they granted my wish to work for AT&T customer care.

What else would you expect from the miserable bastards who run Convergys? I'll bet they knew about this months ago but kept everyone in the dark so they wouldn't look for work someplace else.
