  • NP. Good price on the camera BTW, i payed mine more than that, lol. If you're going to be doing indoor party work, id suggest a wide lens, like the Nikkor 50mm F/1.4 D. While for scenery, the kit lens or a telephoto lens should be just fine. With regards to the UV lens, its actually called a UV FILTER. It costs around 90$ (for a good one) and it simply screws on to ANY lens to make outdoor sunlight seem more vivid. It also protects the frontal element of the lens against dust, scratches, etc...

  • Hey, good choice on the D80. If i were you, i wouldn't buy it at Christmas, as they're less willing to give discounts. But were i live we dont have circuit city, so im not sure. As for the lens, there are several options. You can either buy the camera alone or in a kit. The kit lens is usually the 18-55mm, which is a decent starting lens. From there you can by a telephoto lens like the one in my other video (70-300mm G). But you should reply, specifying what type of photography you do...

    peace.

  • 3 fps not 3.5 :)

  • Hehe, well it depends on which shooting mode :P. I've been able to get close to 4 FPS with this baby in JPEG Basic with the 50mm 1.4D.

  • would the lens in this vid be the VR 70-300 model??>>.

  • No, the 70-300 mm shown in this video is the Nikkor 70-300mm AF-G
