I believe it stands for Marines Combat Training. Unless you M.O.S. is 03-- you go to mct. 03-- goes to SOI school of infantry for predetermined period, usually 3 months

I'm admin atm but changing to combat engineer asap after mct. I was told I'd get the sign on for admin. I didn't. I don't like computers anyway. And Sgt. Beeks said it would be easier to change mos when I'm in as opposed to being delayed
