This park was completed around 1962. I was only seven. They should have left it as just open woods...they did not. Now there is not enough money to maintain it. At 56, I find it very depressing except for the 30 acres of woods...but even that is not the same. The park has turned into a has-been shit hole and even at age 7 I had more sense than the developers. Nothing is more useful and beautiful than open forest. The whole Roslyn area is not what it was...so beautiful...Queens County now
