hey dude, nice catch! I have a question. I live near Manotick ( south of ottawa) and I really need some new fishing spots.... you know any? I got the Long Island Locks which is the 14-16 locks of the rideau river. that was good, but now its just getting old. plus the manotick mill was great for mooneyes, and the berritt rapids near kemptville is just too far for a drive. please help me find a good fishing spot. thanks

Not too many spots around there aside from the Rideau River. I'd just keep fishing the river, good musky in there or I'd try one of the many small rivers around there. Could hold some trout.

Hey i listened to your advice about sticking to the smaller rivers that go off the rideau and i went off to manotick mill. I caught a nice 8ibs. northern pike there. it was small, but it was my first pike and it seemed like a nice pike to me lol. anyways thanks again. p.s. whats the name of the song? It sounded cool :P

It was on the Bonnechure river just off the Ottawa river.

oh it was probably 50 pounds shy of a world record. It was just a record for our fishing club.

that was a decent size but not the world record i got a long, fatter, and probably heavier channel
