BTW - just a tip - might wanna get a bigger SSD (128) and a 1TB Samsung F3 - the F3is quite similar to the Velociraptor, but quite a bit cheaper, heck - you could get 2TB and put them into RAID 0!

well, not rally - the clocks on the 920 and 750 are the same, yea ha bit different for the other models though.

Apparently i5 is not as good for multiGPU setups -but really do look further into that. Also - i5 750 does not have HT, but 860/870 I think do. The i7s have slightly higher something bandwidth or something - look on the intel site and compare CPUs, but it looks like the i5 750 is a pretty good deal as the reasonable mobo can be had for about £100.

Well this build will be pretty slow. So Corsair 800d, Core i7 980x, 64GB SSD Patriots Extreme, 2x 300GB Velociraptors, 1 500GB storage, GTX 300's in SLI, 1000w or 850w corsair, Asus or EVGA motherboard with USB 3.0 and SATA 6, NZXT Sentry 2, Corsair H50, Corsair Dominator GT 2000MHz..I hope I don't go anywhere pretty stupid tho like last time...I think your looking at $3000

bought like a 9800gtx then i didn't like it i wanted a gtx 260, sold the 9800gtx, bought 2 gtx 260's bought a zalman 9700 then upgrade it to a zerotherm, then upgrade it to a cooler master hyper 212, bought a e8400 then upgrade to a Q9550, bought 2 different mobos, yeah i ended up wasting money cuz i didn't choose my parts carefully
