Les gardiens du temple en ruine de la musique classique viennent d'en prendre plein la figure ici et à Bruxelles.

C'est lui qu'on a envie d'aller voir en concert.

La succession de Gleen Gould est assurée !!!!

The sound here is not the best - too much echo which makes his loud playing seem a bit on the harsh side, but his softs are luscious! Great talent!

Unlike so many modern day performers, this guy does not distort the rhythm. This is a masterfully played breakneck exciting speed performance with gorgeous tone and expression. Beethoven must be smiling in his grave

It's good Evgeni's performance brings up likes and dislikes. He IS extremely talented, and therefore always looking for new ways, different nuances, many sound colours. This is what will make him a star.

though i do not like his performance of this gorgeous composittion here, i overall agree with the fact that he is always searching new ways. I love the performances of other things he played. He is the star of the whole event. He should have won! The asian pianists are disappointing! Thank you.

This isn't the clip I'd pick to represent his semifinal recital. I appreciate the tone color and warmth he gets here, but it's too fast, he takes no repeats, and he misses some of the humor in it. I did think the rest of this sonata went much better, though.

He is the public's favourite, for the moment. He certainly has a very strong personnality and I had never heard this Sonata played that way.....The problem is: I don't really like it!

I always feel that Mr. Bozhanov has such a strong connection to the music he plays - it's great!
