  • Dude - do you think Paul Jackson plays the same line all the time??

This is just a basic idea of how he plays it.

Maybe you could play it for us and post it.

  • Yo, i didn't realize this was posted 2 years ago. You probably already have this figured out by now.

  • @dowsemeister Hey, I didn't realize that I was replying to the wrong message. Sorry about that. I just responded to a message sent via gmail and another kid. Hope I didn't too condescending, which was not where I'm coming, btw. Peace.

  • No worries lonhillyer. I did the same thing a while back to somebody else.

I learn alot from comments. That's what YouTube is all about.

    Cheers!

  • I tried to post something to post something before so I don't know if you saw it. But, he plays the line as is at the top and playing on it and around it; you have to listen to it intensely a number of times. It sounds easy and in some ways it is, the hard part is not to sound like a fusion musician. I don't have a camera but you have the CD. I'm not trying tp come off like I know it better but I did come from that school, in terms of my age. I just listed to the record obsessively for months.

  • Just listen to it without playing it for a while and you'll hear it. It's not rocket science, but then again, it is.

  • i can't find a tab for this anywhere!

  • Sorry, I don't know tab. I just read and write music. I wish I could help you out.

  • Sorry I was posting on another account there. I can show you how to write tab if you want. Are you interested? I would love to have a tab of this song as I am having some difficulties pinpointing where your fingers are going. Give me a pm if you are interested.

  • Can you publish your transcription?

  • I could write it out. It's not note for note what Paul Jackson played. I would first have to dowload a music writing program. Let me check it out

    Cheers!

  • Great video lesson Pete. Please keep posting more. -Eric
