  • fucking teases! i cant wait for download! gonna be sick!

  • COME TO GREECE!!! now

  • I'm still wondering why they don't just sign to Ipecac..?

  • I never thought FNM would reunite either....so Im gonna keep wishing on Bugle.

  • The difference is that FNM broke up in 1998 on very good terms. Mike Patton was always open to getting back together with them.

Bungle's breakup was extremely personal and ugly. The only way I could see them getting back together is if they regroup without Trey Spruance.

  • oh man I love mr bungle

  • Mouahaha xD

See you in EU this summer guyz !

  • yeeeey wonderful wonderful news!!!! :))))

  • when are us irish fans gona get a gig date :( pleeeeease!!

  • Great!!!

  • YEAH!!! See you @ Peace & Love festival,my 5:th time seeing you.....

  • [waits patiently for New England/Boston concert dates...]

  • Well, I wish I was going to download now because it's worth it just to hear them play this, pmsl. Shave your head Patton and run around at high speed in suspenders and stockings. slap slap slap

  • Hahahaha, Boots Randolph ftw.

  • LOL

  • Mark Patterson

  • Out of all his amazing projects, Mike Patton was the most in his element while in FNM. That's where he made his mark and helped create some of the most important music of the last 20 years. It's great to see he's back where he belongs

  • Mr. Bungle

  • FNM touring Europe, FNM possibly recording a new album and FNM probably doing dates in the US.......ABOUT GOD DAMM TIME!!!!!!

So the real question is....WHEN (not will) is the Bungle Reunion????????????????

  • Dont think thats gonna happen. FNM didnt part on bad terms, Bungle did. Google "Bungle go kaput" if you havent already read it.

  • Yeah...Bungle is definitely never getting back together. Trey Spruance and Mike Patton are, as I understand,. still on bad terms. Even Trevor Dunn has turned his back on Trey and sided with Mike.

  • This video is exactly what i was expecting from it...yeah,they´re back, there´s no doubt about it.

And just one more thing... What The Fuck are you guys waiting for to include Portugal in your tour dates caralho!!!!????

  • a melhor banda de volta nem dah pra acreditar!!!!

  • Fucking amazing. The best band in the world. Stoked that they have reunited. Patton is God. This genius can pull anything off.

  • ahahaha awesome video :D saving Portugal for the last one (again) ? Q___Q

  • funny but stupid

  • HAHA love their sense of humour.

  • 7th May 2009! :-D This is the day of my 25 birthday and this day it turned out, that FNM will play in my country! It musn't be a accident ;-DDD I adore them !

  • Don't cry, babies... FAITH NO MORE was always like this. They like to f### up with their own fans! This is what I always liked in them, hahaha! Live shows always contained something crazy, too. So, if you can't laugh on this, go and listen to some old Bon Jovi or put on Live Aid...

  • About time, an intelligent human fan!

  • guhhhh. what a bunch of jerks! i wanted to hear What A Day or something! when's the first show?

  • 0:40 Roddy Bottum!

  • I want some new songs from these guys. Maybe an EP or something at least

  • niiice! can't wait for the tour, and please tour everywhere! =)

  • no music then... lame

  • i would expect nothing less from those guys lolz

  • FNM always had a good sense of humour. The audio proves it

  • probably the best reunion ever

  • Comment removed

  • the first sighting of Jon Hudson since 1998!!

  • thats not a very nice thing to say about yourself (hehehehehehehehehehehehe)

  • Theyv really pissed me off with this download exclusive thing... cleary ran out of money

  • Gahhhh it's so good to see those feet in the same place together again :P I hope they do another album, i'd be gutted if this Summer was the end of the reunion

  • what the fuck are you on about mike has never sold out, the peeping tom stuff was ace and his way of making a statement

  • Good, get fucked off then. FNM doesn't need close-minded fans such as yourself. I'm not a fan of hip-hop, but who the hell are you to say what is music and what is not?

    You're nobody.

  • Haha, seems fair enough since Patton himself is close-minded.

  • Patton is excused, because the man is a genius.

  • How do you know that other guy wasn't a genius? Haha

  • *Shrugs* If he proves he is, I'll apologize. Haha.

  • Haha, ok.

  • hehe whos close minded here???

likei said.. i went to the show and gave it a chance and didnt like it.. so how open do you want me to be???

atleast i went and didnt sit at home and ponder on the thought of masybe seeing what its like..

so tell me huffy.... you into pink as well??

you seem like the sort seeing your open and all

  • "you seem like the sort seeing your open and all"

The sort? What is that supposed to mean.

  • couldn't agree more and how am i a sellout for liking his hip hop stuff? fucking hell even epic had funk elements in it and i have seen nearly all the bands mike has been in including mr bungle and tomahawk, gabmezza its people like you who sell out by conforming to one type of music

  • You are on the side of rock (good) and Patton is on the side of rap (evil)... hahaha

  • you didnt like peeping tom????? what the hell is the matter wtith you??

  • sorry. i just dont.. i grew up with alot of hip hopp ionfluences around me and i hated every single bit of it.,. trust me i gave it a go, just to make sure i see mike patton, but to me, it was so wrong..

  • Jeez. That's just bout the only musician that you can NEVER call a sell-out. Patton's the shit!

  • dont get me wrong.. i know hes the shit.. like i said. i went fucken apeshit when i saw him with fantomas and tomahawk.. and i think thats why it hurt so much to see him do something in a small venue with some amatuers that sounded really bad..

its the same as jimmy page. hes one of my heroes.. but why the fuck use kashmir in a dumb fuck rap song in a movie...???

youre either hardcore rock or rap. you choose.

in between is considered someone who ventures onto commercial listening.

  • i would thumbs up that comment all the way up till where you said "youre either hardcore rock or rap. you choose". i go for a lot of hardcore, grindcore, experimental etc, but i do enjoy good ol' dirty hip hop aswell...

  • thats cool.. but like i said.. im just not into it.

and i cant be close minded. i used to dj and had all the stuff from nwa to boogie down productions and just being up there looking at the attitudes of people compared to rock people made me cringe..

and to be honest, you dont get the same heart feel listening to hip hop and rap as you do listening to shit like stripsearch and everythings ruined and 46 and 2 from tool as well for example.

  • Nah i'm in no way saying you are closed minded, each to their own and all that.

though id disagree that you dont get the same feeling listening to hip hop, it just comes in a different way. to me, hip hop projects its feeling through the lyrics, wheras a rock music can utilise the epic potential of their instruments to create feeling (though some dont, and some hip hop does). its just personal taste as to which you find more appealing

  • ill give you a thumbs up 4 that.

its just that i never thought as mike patton would be in two minds to see both worlds...

i always looked up to him as a lyrical and vocal and instrumental master. i really cant see anyone like him..

but i always tought hed be "hardcore patriotic"

  • agreed. Rap and Rock can be done decently (only by Rage Against the Machine though).

  • So so so wrong

  • "youre either hardcore rock or rap. you choose."

I don't know if you've ever heard of this thing called freedom?

Means you don't have to choose. Because you have the freedom to do both.

    Now who is close-minded?

  • DUDE! im not saying not to have freedom, what im saying is.. how can you go to an italian restaurant and ask for chinese food..

mike has performed his shit for ages noe, hes done awesome works. and its always the same sort of genre..

im used tohim kicking ass as he was. then comes the PEEPING TOM. total change of character, it put me off..

DONT I HAVE THE FREEDOM TO VOICE MY OPINION?

  • Yes, you do. I'm not arguing your freedom. I'm saying, you have the freedom to express yourself how you like, to an extent.

Mike Patton also has that freedom, and he is using it fully by expressing himself how he wishes musically.

Its fine that you don't like it. I just don't understand why you said it had to be a black-and-white choice between rock and rap.

  • Because thats how i feel about the industry.

  • Then you are, to an extent, close-minded about the music industry and different styles of music.

  • omg.. hehe your funny...

ive been there and done it with the music. i chose not to like it and didnt think it fits in with the genre at hand., trust me. im as open as you can get.. look at my vids and youll see.. im just saying, a master like mike turned me off what i thought was a sell out to rock.. im glad theres dabbling, awesome.. try it once or twice., its fun, but if it doesnt work, or looks bad, why promote it.,.

  • Um, Wolfmother are one of the most unoriginal bands to come out of anywhere (let alone Australia) in years. Having seen them both before and after they got big, the most they did was pose with big hair. Those retrograde 70s rock pastiche bands are a dime a dozen in Sydney. FNM have ALWAYS pushed the envelope, even before Patton joined, and exponentially so since.

  • its not about unoriginality, its about doing the sound right..

  • Yea I see what you mean. But it IS possible to have "heartfelt" rap [not hip-hop/and not gangsta rap]. Look up Eminem's song bout his daughter and wife. If that's not heartfelt, I dunno what is.

Having said that, give me rock, metal and fusion and I won't need rap in the equation :P

  • dude.. listen to that then listen to 10, 000 days and wings for marie.. which one is deeper..

  • Deeper... and boring as hell...

The good days of TooL ends with 10000 Days album

  • WTF does that have to do w/ FNM..?!

  • Nothing, was a answer to another guy said something about Tool.

    Take it easy, ok?

  • Yeah, also for powerful rap listen to "he got game" - by Public Enemy...epic

  • It says something about how OTT the fanbase is when a video that is really nothing is given 5 stars overall with 46 ratings cast

  • me too matty......cos I just came..hehe

  • I hope they play Scotland :)

  • Haha! Brilliant! What a tease! x

  • Mike sure enjoys fucking with his fans.

  • Gee thanks for throwing us a bone...what's the deal with the feet? People just want to see Mikes face to be honest they don't really care about the rest...ok, maybe Billy and Puffs faces too...OK maybe Roddy too even though he's already an attention whore on his twitter page ; D

  • Forget Download. Brixton is where it's at

  • Nice one Bill you fucker ;) You should all wear masks during the Download gig!

  • Love the anti-climax of that whole experience! Very impressive indeed... the mystery lives on!

  • That's fucking hilarious, totally something Patton would pull, well done Mikey!

  • Yay!!! Soo Patton!

  • The guitarist (I would assume Jon Hudson) looked to be bald.

  • dammit mike

  • watch?v=VHdvruqZwz4

  • Dammit Mike. Although this is something I'd expect him to do.

  • MOAR!!

  • YouTube, home of superstars like elchamosin!

  • Uhhh...either Mr. Bordin got one hell of a tan or there's a black dude on drums now. (:53 sec)

  • Yackety Sax makes everything funny! This is awesome.

  • Lol! You fooled us Gould!

  • i could actually recognize mike just by his shoes xD you're quite a director, general patton! and i like the benny hill theme song. you should seriously consider using it as an intro song for the tour :D hahah, can't wait! xD

  • they are the best.and i just can't fucking wait .

  • I knew this would be a wind up!

  • singing in a SM57, huh? well okay, it's a rehearsal =)

  • You would be surprised how great it can be even on studio vocals.

  • patton has sang in a sm57 on many occassions..various music videos and live shows and recordings too probably (michael jackson recorded the entire thriller album on a 57) .. it's an excellent microphone

  • thriller was a sm7b, but okay, you can use every mic for all kind of things, as long as it can stand the sound pressure level. i just thought the sm57 was more commonly used as an instrument mic.

  • no, thriller was sm57 michael recorded his vocals with

  • taken from the official shure website "Michael Jackson used the SM57 to record the famous Billie Jean in 1982"

  • i read it here:

    pro-audio.musiciansfriend(dot)com/product/Shure-SM7B-Microphone-with-Switchable-Response?sku=270247

maybe they got it wrong or it's just a marketing thing, i dunno. we should ask Bruce Swedien himself =)

  • okay, we don't need to ask, here it is, post #66 :

    gearslutz (dot) com/board/high-end/80222-what-consoles-were-used-thriller-3.html

  • automatic 5 stars on the account of it being FNM footage

  • noooooooo i lost my earphones yesterday!!!!! what a gammy time to do it!!!!

  • ur lucky actually...

  • nice shoes

  • I like how Roddy is in his iconic, almost requisite, all white clothing attire from the Angel Dust Era

  • this is just mean haha well done

  • I'm guessing the lack of faces is FNM humour.

  • The way Puffy is tapping his snare makes me think the song they're rehearsing is "The Real Thing".

  • agreed.
