F-22 may be better, but the damn thing isnt used by the US Navy for carrier operations either. Nor are we currently producing anymore Raptors due to its radically high costs. Nor has it even come anywhere close to rivaling its elder cousin, the F-15 Eagle's service record either. Advanced technology doesnt always mean its the best, when older airframes like the Navy's Tomcat and the USAF's Strike Eagle is still outclassing any and every opponent we face.

How loved is this airplane? Just go to your local hobby shop and ask them which airplane kit is the best seller. At my store there are about 25 kits and die-cast Tomcats. You do the math.

Y see the movie Top Gun a lot of times, and im still seeing hahahaha. We miss you tomcat. Beautiful machine and musical sound. Y love that plane. Is the best forever and ever.

I never really thought of an airplane to be much more than an airplane, but this video made me change my mind. I really loved that you used the Top Gun song. I have allot of small models of the F-14 Tomcat from my childhood. I always loved the Tomcat and I still do. I also love the Top Gun movie. I consider this airplane to be my favorite. Thanks for making this video. It was really great!
