Vergil is WAY stronger then Dante in the 3rd game, but in number one, when Vergil fight's in nelo angelo form, he never held back, because he was under Mundus' control, so Dante became stronger then him

From what I understand Yamato and Rebellion did belong to Sparda and he gave them to his sons. So did Rebellion also seperate the worlds? If not, then what's so great about Rebellion? it was spardas sword, the force edge, that sealed the demon world from the human world. thats why arkham had to travel to the demon world to reclaim it, but there was also a way to open it back up, that is with the power of yamato, Rebellion was given to Dante because sparda saw alot of himself in Dante, and rebellion was the sword used by sparda before he used the force edge to seal it away. thats why its titled rebellion, because it symbolizes the start of the revolt against demons sparda did.

They will. Capcom's japanese website, officialy announced that DMC5, which will take place a few months after DMC4, will have the return of Vergil (not Nelo Angelo), and apparently a lot of flaws in the story will be cleared and explained. VERGIL IS COMING BACK !
