Hiya from Cape Breton. Did you try a woodgas stove works really well for me but i never tried it in 60km wind though. It burns smokeless and very hot.
@Outbacknac hey hows it going cb ...ya built a few wood gas but for the bulk like alcohol stoves better never had much luck with wood stoves ..thanks for watching

@Heavyb2u ya it burnt pretty well but didnt produce any heat i will try smaller holes maybe and less wind ...ya i dont like the fumes either
