mary: i skip over the description box too fast when I'm drinking... the first thing I wrote was "this sounds more like burroughs than ginsberg" - thinking it was a tribute to ginsberg... then i skimmed it again but thought you meant it was a tribute to burroughs that you wrote... I should know this... I blame YOU for my drinking! And the painkillers. and the xanax. and the coke. and the...
William Burroughs. ha! I've watched interviews with him. He was quite the character. And I'm haunted because - he looked in his later years, very similar to my Grandfather... who was also an addict! hehe!
Loved it. five stars and favorated again. I'm beginning to be obsessed with you.
I'm enjoying your various locations of transmission Mary, thus far I've seen the pool and a cliff....Ah yes Mr. Burroughs, one of my fave literary outlaws. Always marvelled at his UNIQUE perspective on things(slight understaement lol).I've always maintained that even if the man's subject matter repulses you, his exceptional talent cannot be denied. One of the immortals for sure.I always dig seeing Brits do American accents, a worthy stab at the Kansas drawl, cheers
LOL!!! Ha-ha!!! I will try, but I don't know how well the specific techniques you've mentioned will go over... it's funny to hear them though! LOL & 8-)
i'm not sure if being drunk is so cool,saadia...alcohol has stripped many of their inner and outer beauty..i only mention this cause youre rather lovely looking.
i love standing on the cliff edge...it's a place between somewhere and nothing...glad you enjoyed it..its not very accurate, but i was drunk and it's really only big kiss to one of my favourites ...some day i'll do a tribute to gregory corso as well.
well,i dunno sweet man...hate ,like anything, could be a very source for creativity....oh, if only hatred was harnessed within creativity, everything would be pretty darn groovy..
i just like how william burroughs approaches it...everyone comes out a winner when love is given a chance to work its magic.
I see what you mean, but if you don't love your enemies, you might be spending much of your time hating them, instead. In any case, I wholeheartedly agree with you about love.
thanks david...it's my tribute to william burroughs...i was drunk at the time,so its not very accurate, but its how i try to live my live.....america breeds poets...theyre mostly my favourites...gregory corso...william burroughs..allen ginsberg...and of course bob dylan...and you're something else too david...there's an english poet called chloe poems who i love...he/she has a great one called 'i wanna be fucked by jesus'
This is one of the most peculiar videos I've ever watched. A lesson on how scathology can turn into poetry :D

A very intense interpretation; the balance of control and seduction, but barely balanced, and drunk on a cliff a fitting situation to recite it.
