Maybe fighting spirit or Hajime no Ippo is actually the character from punch out. I mean think about it, Little Mac. Makunouchi? And he's little, or at least short. And if Mak moved to America, then maybe Kamagawa either entrusted his training to the black coach guy or he passed away. It just seems very possible.
