Blixa leaving Bad Seeds was indeed a sad occasion, but I would have been downright heartbroken if he had elected to leave Einstürzende Neubauten instead. Much as I love Nick Cave, I simply adore Blixa Bargeld, who is one of those rare individuals who always manage to bring something truly unique and interesting to the table.
