I just wanted to say I've spent the last few hours watching your videos on the rebuild of the Sea Ray, and I wanted to congratulate you on your hard work and your boat! I found you're videos quite by mistake, and they have been very informative and entertaining. We just purchased our first boat and was searching for Hydro Turf videos and saw your videos and couldn't stop watching! Again, congratulations and happy boating!!
wow you did an awesome job, the floor and stringers are gonna last for a long time. Your videos are such inspiration. i am doing a small resto job, and your videos have given me lost of advise and ideas. and congrats on the boat
If you have 2 connections at the oil sender, one is for the gauge and the other is used for the idiot light that comes on when the ignition is first turned on, the connections could be reversed.
WOOO!!!! I think I have watched all of your videos from start to finish within the past few days, and you have given me incentive to fix up my 1965 15ft sea king run about.
I have pulled the glass flooring, foamed the (hollow) stringers and cavities, and will be putting the deck down and carpeting tomorrow!
Your videos have actually inspired me to finish this project i have been doing since 2008!
Hopefully i will have this thing cruising the Chesapeake in no time!
On the oil sender, you are not using teflon tape on the threads are you? Teflon tape is a no no since the sending unit needs to be grounded to the block.
I've been watching u for a long time on u tube. I love watching u work on this stuff it gives me great motivation to get my 1989 skipro extreme on the water. I'm pretty much doing what u did to ur glastron. I was thinking that u seem like a pretty cool bunch to chill with. And maybe you should consider setting up a "boat meet" on ur lake one day for ur loyal viewers to go and have a good time with the jay family.
Time to enjoy your hard work. like you said not totally finished but enough to be able to enjoy it whenever you have the time. looks and sounds awesome. you kept me in suspense while moving out of the no wake zone. wanted to hear it rev up and cruise. Congrats once again.
Beastly! I'm sure you could start another business just repairing boats and people would jump... leap and bound, at the chance to own one of "Jay's Boats", myself included! I can't wait til you finish this one and move on to the next "project"!
Very nice and a great run out . You do great work, happy I watch from start to finish ............ Cant wate to see what your next project will be ! We are watching you !!lol
I am resurrecting a dead Bayliner Capri 1850 4.3L, and your videos give me such hope to see it on the water.

You have worked a lot and very well. This is the small version of your big boat.

Nice job Jay! You'll get more speed out of it if you trim the drive up a tad once on plane.
