There is no comparison between these two bands. different style and genre. Both Opeth and Katatonia are my favorite bands and I never thought of comparing between them.

Katatonia are geniuses in their own style.

@harmony0404 you may think that because opeth tends to seperate their brutal metal from their progressive tranquil stuff. katatonia blends the two together. both bands have been influenced by the other. dont claim one is better if they're both great at what they do and do different things
