why'd didn't u hook up ur turntables to the bcd2000 i though the bcd2000 lets u do that... u owudln't have to scratch on their small jog wheels

At the time I only had a demo of deckadance. They had timecodes but I could not get that software to work right with my bcd2000.I use Futuredecks pro. At that time they did not have timecode available on the software. They do now but I have not updated my software yet. The wheel are small lol !!!

I could not get virtual dj to work on my computer with bcd2000. There are some djs who have got it to work. Like sankongjin got it working on his computer. His videos are great if you have not checked them out. I'm using futuredecks pro for software right now. I would recommend the bcd2000. I like it. It takes a lot of work to get it to work. I can help you and there is also xylio forum which is very helpful too.

Make sure you select bcd2000 in the configuration. You should disable your sound card on your computer? What software are you using?

b-dj...the sound works on virtual dj but i just downloaded a trial and im wonderin how i get the sound to work on b-dj?

Do you mean futuredecks pro. B-dj is the software that comes with the bcd2000 but they are not making updates for it anymore. With either on of those softwares you should be able to go into config and select bcd2000 as you sound source. If this does not work let me know but give all the details that you can about your set up and I might be able to help you better.

I know how to use real turntables, I was demonstrating what could be done with the bcd2000 for people who are interested in getting one. Why don't you get a life?

There is a button that says scratch on the bcd2000. That should activate the wheels so wheel you move them they will get that sound. Then you use the fader to create different scratches. I hope that helps!!!

I have a BCD2000 and do not know how you get the fader so create this type of sound with the scratch wheel. Are you setting this up under one of the FX buttons? I really am interested.

Hey, thank you so very much!!! It was hard to pull off the crab because the bcd2000 is not touch sensitive so you are fighting the unit all the way. It is still fun though. Thank you again for your positive feedback.

sick mixing, that beat with the jungle type bass is badass =D skills w/ the crab, could never pull that one off very well.. i like the fact that you dont have to be near as gentle with the digital version of decks, even though having that 'touch' (using CRAP belt driven tables 1st for months) was what helped me get good really quick at scratching when i could finally afford 1200s, anyway huge ups on scratching with digital =]

damn girl! i've had a bcd 2000 for a year and i still can't do stuff like that! now, the loop option, is it just me or will it not loop where you want it to? it only has a set number of bars in which it will loop. is there a way to zoom in there a get exactly where you wanna loop?

Your problem might be because the bpm is wrong. If you bpm is just a little wrong the loop wont sound right. When I get a chance I will post a vid on how I did the beat juggling.

oh man, thanks a lot! yea, must be something like that, i'm gonna mess with it, see if i cna get it done myself. also, do u have serato by now? if so, wat do u suggest, buying the mixer that comes with it, or using any old mixer? im thinking about buying both but i don't exactly have $1000 to throw around. i want ur pro. opinion. :)

I don't have serato. That whole set up is a lil outta my budget but I imagine it is really good.I believe you can use bcd2000 as a controller but don't quote me on that.

amazing scratching! my bcd seems to have a delay with my scratching and it playing, how did you fix that?

What is your latency set at? I think mines is set pretty low. It's been awhile since I have done anything so I can't remember what it is lol. Anyway I hope this helps. Thanks for the positive comments.

Thank you!!! Futuredecks pro has been pretty solid for me. I had to roll back to version 1.05 because when I upgraded my computer started crashing when I loaded certain songs. You might wait until they fix 1.07.
