  • same result who cares

  • They're the same. In another interview if I remember correctly, he brings his hands up top just to change something up like timing and/or momentum when he's struggling.

  • they're like the exact same

  • left - fastball, right - breaking ball - of course they will look different

  • fuck the giants...

  • lol thats just a mistake by him, he threw 2 different pitchers there. thats what good hitters look for in a pitcher ;)

  • @CoeCoema7 shut up. It should make no difference what pitch he throws and what type of delivery he uses

  • @Cooliorodriguez94 thought yall was talking about how his windup is a little quicker, not the fact that he went over his head. was lookin at mechanics. get pissed one time

  • im in the back ground of the LA game

  • whos cares how he pitches ? hes def one of the best in the game today.

  • they are basically the exact same it doesn't matter about the style

  • New is better

  • nah. where it says "new" was only used for a few games... it didnt work AT ALL so he went back to his natural windup. the one that says old he still does now

  • One was an offspeed one was a fastball...

  • @IEsorry -sigh- no.

  • @vitorbelfort Umm.. yes the old one is an offspeed in the dirt you dumbass

  • @IEsorry wow you really have no baseball knowledge, you're making that obvious. You're correct that in his old delivery he is throwing a breaking ball, and his new one he is throwing a fast ball, but that is just a coincidence. He obviously doesn't change his delivery depending on what pitch he is throwing, if he did that, major league hitters would obviously note that and be able to tell what pitch is coming. Pitchers make sure they have the same delivery regardless of pitch...dumbass

  • @vitorbelfort All I said was that one was an offspeed and one was a curveball

  • @IEsorry yes, well that would be stating the obvious

  • the old one was more productive

  • @TheJbr777 His old wind up used way more arm though...

  • ha Backwards K matt kemp loser

  • Matt Kemp!!!

  • wat song is this

  • tim lincecum the best pitcher of mlb

  • Comment removed

  • hahaha whata stoner

  • Either way he is a beast, and Im a die hard Rangers fan :/......

  • @whosZepher Nah.

  • he stopped doing that cuz it killed his groove lol

  • @MexicanOFChicago haha love your youtube name bruh XD

  • @jrmixtapes I know. I also realized the Dodgers suck ass. Thanks for letting me know.

  • the difference is in new he puts his glove over his head old he keeps it near his chest

  • love the 14 second shitty into for a 36 second shitty video...fucker

  • Giants Suck! Reply To Me What You Think When I say LEZ GO DODGERS! BOO, GIANTS!

  • @FrankiMunez Your teams bankrupt. ass.

  • @FrankiMunez At least we came in second place, your team came in 4th place even with possibly the 2011 NL MVP in Matt Kemp and 2011 NL Cy Young in Clayton Kershaw.

  • 0:14 they look just alike.

  • it looks the exact same

  • its kinda hard to compare them side to side when there both playing

  • i like Tim and all but dont get me wrong on this i dont know what happened to him honestly. Back in 80-09' he had gas at 96-99mph with movement crazy stuff. But once 10' season hit its like he lost it all only clocking barely in at 91 the whole season (but developed a FILTHY change). Im really confused to this. in the 11' season he started getting it back up reaching 95 in the season but my question is what happened to that filthy 99mph?

  • @TheOriolesfan52295 : Lincecum had his changeup since 2008. He's been steadily losing velocity on his fastball ever since he made the big league club in 07. In '10 it seemed like it was just messed up mechanics and poor conditioning that led to the massive drop in his fastball velocity. His velocity was back up this year and more consistent. Probably just a steady natural decline in velocity. Can't possibly expect him to throw 98-99 for his whole career.

  • @TheChillOne1 how come nolan ryan could throw that fast into his mid /late 40's. im convinced tat most theories of pitching are just that (theories) for some guy with an average iq to hold on or write a book and make a buck. lol if you watch todays pitchers they have that big windmill leg turn . but watch the great pitcher before the later ninties and the follow thruoff the back leg is abbreviated. why some coaching genius told them this was the proper way.

  • @TheOriolesfan52295 he got funky, thas whu hapin... glad you like the changeup, iss funky

  • Romero> Kershaw> Weaver

  • @SOLIDSNAKEXXX360 Haha. Romero is pretty good, but he's nowhere near Kershaw or Weaver. Kershaw = best in NL West. Weaver = best in AL West.

  • Kershaw has some of the most sound mechanics compared to a lot of lefties. Hes not going to wear out like Kazmir or Avery who had real violent mechanics.

  • Clayton Kershaw > Tim Lincecum...and in case anyone is wondering the name of the song is Man on the Moon (the anthem) by Kid Cudi

  • @d3mon805 Jered Weaver > Clayton Kershaw

  • @Rytea2 lmao not anymore

  • @d3mon805 Well I believe Clayton Kershaw will soon fall as he is too similar to hard throwing lefties like Scott Kazmir and Steve Avery who were rushed to the big leagues at age 20 and only had like 4 good years before they fell apart.

  • @Rytea2 ...maybe

  • @Rytea2

    Nah, Kershaw is better

  • that is backwards

  • @igivegoodreviews its not the same pitch, the one on the left is a two seamer and the one on the right is a 12-6. if u dont believe me, look at the speed. the one on the left is 91, on the right 83, ur the idiot

  • The 'new' one is because he was getting out of shape. lmfa0. He was getting tired by the end of the season so he changed his wind up. SO. Then Matt Cain told him to work out with him. Now tim Lincecum works out with Matt Cain and hes gained about 20 pounds of muscle over the off season.

  • new on right and old on left dumb ass

  • @Breyeanne

haha u got anger probs dude the one on the left was his delivery since high school. last year he changed it in august cuz he was having trouble throwing strikes and he needed to slow his motion down a bit,,,he switched back by the world series,,,just sayin if u dont know, dont talk

  • @Breyeanne your hella dumb look at the catcher the "new" one has buster posey. The old one is i forgot his name but your thinking about the wind-up and from the stretch

  • 209purplebannana2 4that wind up lasted half the season u fuck head

  • @tjoshie1441 No it didn't. It lasted for two games before he canned it.

  • @omymar13 canned it most likely because he realized staying over your back foot longer causes your whole body to slow down and generate less power and velocity...I tried this for a while and it just created an extraneous amount of time before I released the ball. This extra time also cause more things to go wrong in my mechanics...okay my life story is now over

  • dude that windup lasted 2 games you DUMB FUKKER

  • and if your gonna have a new and old deliver video, at least have it when its the same pitch

  • @XIXW1K3DXIX it is the same pitch idiot, if you watch the break on the pitch its the same break

  • there is nothing new with his wind up. lol. oooo he put is hand over his head. big deal xD

  • At hand break it looks like he is still in the same spot?

  • i like the new one cause he striked out a cuby

    ahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

  • @SharkAttackProd that was a Dodger, lol.

  • i like the new one. old school

  • he only used this windup for one or two starts

  • i watched this about 20 times in a row becuase timmy really is just that intresting to watch, the new one does seem to stay over the back foot more in the stretch, not for more time but more of his weight, giving him that little bit more on the rotation. and his chest does seem to be more fluid through rotation

  • It does appear that the right one is from the stretch but there is no one on base in either situation, so I'll rule it out.

I always thought TIm did keep his hands awfully low before hand break.

I think the newer one is more fluid for staging the shoulders into the acceleration phase.

  • I only see him like this for only one game ><

  • great video but the music

  • You can have saved 20 seconds of my life by not putting an opener.

  • i like the new windup better than the old windup

  • Comment removed

  • DUDE ARE YOU FUCKING STUPID FOOL????? WHAT NEW DELIVERY???? Lincecum is simply pitching out of the stretch on the right. Lincecum normally never pitches in the stretch but will occasionally.

  • @niksinthe916 wow are you an idiot?!?!?!

Timmy never comes set so how's he pitching from the stretch you retard?!

and notice how he brings his hands over his head in the new delivery.

Gtfo if you dont know anything about baseball you fuck

  • @SoleMetal2518 hahaha but yeah i just noticed the arm position

  • @SoleMetal2518 My mistake!

  • @niksinthe916

You are the dumbest person I have ever encountered. He starts the wind-up completely different.

    DERP DERP DERRRRRRR
