the knife destructor had the busse as the most disapointing knife ever. it broke early. he has tested quite a few knifes, including fallkniven being to ranked together with the most heaviest knifes. however weights exeding those of fallkniven a2 arevery much to heavy.
I love my Busse Sarsquatch! Always wanted a Falkniven, but sharpening and maintaining convex edges are a bit intimidating to me and I don't yet have strops and the other stuff to maintain it.

Where you said the S1 is blunt towards the tip you were starting to run the edge of the blade almost parallel to the paper. Also the Busse was more ripping than slicing - thick, jagged edge + thick coating.

Lol that white finish made me think it was a ceramic knife. I almost shit my pants thinking they made a hard enough ceramic blade for survival uses. Then I read the comments and was let down lol
i got a NM SFNO too, just to bad that i haven't got to tried it yet for anthing harder then kitchen work.

i think D2 is more for heavy duty stuff,ur not really using ur outcast to open envelopes or shave lol,if ur only touching it up a couple of times after the stuff uv done wit it then it kinda speaks 4 itself,it rocks(",)
Nice, well worth the money for that kind of performance. I'm really not sure what the reputation of D2 steel is as far as holding an edge, but my Kershaw Outcast is great. I've used it alot and only have had to touch it up a couple times. *****
