  • QT drinking game: Watch a Tarantino interview, and take a shot every time he says "alright"

  • i'd fucking love to see a tarantino melodrama!!!

  • "Don't go in the basement" is ""The forgotten" (1973) ?

  • wat a genius tarantino

  • minus 8 ftw!!!!

  • @jigglypiggly kill yourself!

  • Did anyone catch what he said about Coppola?

  • @gwain30 Douglas Sirk! Like the steak in Pulp Fiction

  • what was the name of that douglas guy i wanna find out?

  • I love listening to him talk about film simply because he is so enthusiastic and even Mitchell smiles when he sees how much Tarantino loves cinema.

  • I love and hate Quentin all at the same time. I love his knowledge...but I hate how he talks about it like everyone should know this. I have no idea how Kathy Griffin and Margaret Cho could even understand what he says - he talks sooo fast. But I digress because he is pretty awesome.

  • Tarantino would have made a great 'Frankenstein' monster.

  • I've always loved Mitchell's Predator hair.

  • i hate elvis mitches, but love tarantino

  • last house on the left is hilarious too in a weird way. like when junior is lowering the fire escape but doesn;t let go in time and get's pulled up!!

  • That was the same movie that scared me the most as a kid. It was awful.

  • Did you know you're awesome for putting this up? I just wanted to let you know that.

  • this interview is gr8, really productive.

  • Elvis Mitchell - Self Proclaimed film critic. Haha, yeah right. This guy couldn't critique a film to save his life. Check out his reviews for Terminator, and Terminator 2, if you want some laughable writing.

  • it doesn't seem like you're able to grasp the fact that the "laughable writing" is his personal style. I'm in college and I had to read some of his film reviews; he is really entertaining and knowledgable.

  • @RobertLuongDick There's a difference between "laughable writing" and "humorous writing" sonny, Let me know when you get out of college.

  • I know the difference between the two. When I quoted laughable writing, it wasn't meant to be taken literally; I was just referring to what you think of his writing. So would you care to at least explain why you think Mitchell's writing sucks?

  • @RobertLuongDick Elvis is a wannabe critic, not a reviewer. There's a difference between decent, honest criticism and completely blatant stupidity. Let's see the review in question T2, shall we. Among other things he claims it was "hollywoodized" LMAO, Hollywoodized? A massive blockbuster film written by James Cameron? That's some dumb negro logic right there.

  • Wow and I thought you actually had an intelligent argument. You hate his reviews because he invents new words? And yea James Cameron wrote the story but the movie was still made in Hollywood.

  • @RobertLuongDick I see you college lemmings are all the same, easily brainwashed because you haven't gotten over the teen angst and your brains have not fully developed, you truly make me weep for the future, communications blocked.

  • Yea that may be so, but I wasn't lectured on Mitchell's writing in class. I had to do a final project for my Rhetorical Analysis class and chose to base it off of him. My opinion about Mitchell's writing skill is a product of nothing but my own brain. I'm not trying to be pretentious or anything.... Anyway I think its pretty clear that Elvis's purposely uses that particular style because a lot of ppl find it entertaining. How do I know? Because I thought the articles I read were entertaining

  • @jigglypiggly that's pretty good!!!

  • No matter what you feel about the man you cannot deny his view about film and I agree with him even though both have different tastes.

  • what is the song that plays in the beginning, its really good?

  • This is one of the most calmest I've seen him in an Interview

  • @matthaufan97 Ironically, the interview is called "Under The Influence".

  • @matthaufan97 lol yeah probabbly high

  • @matthaufan97 yes, truly, this is Tarantino at his most calmest. this is the mostest calm i've ever seen him. quite calmest, really, that i've ever seen. frankly, the bestest calm i've seen thus far on youtube--or, rather, the mostedly calmest the bestest.

  • When was this filmed? Thanks for putting this up!

  • I think it was filmed during Winter 07 or Spring of 08.

  • LOL! 5:09.. QT looks so disappointed that his coffee cup is empty.

  • He did! LOL!

  • I loved Rock Hudson on Giant.

    RIP

  • Rock Hudson was one of the greats. Love watching his movies.
