My Cat has the same wound as the cheetah and I use the same medicine . but my cat died :( and the way the vet pour the antibiotic to the cheetah's leg is soo .. harsh !
cheetahs are actually apex predators - naturally the wild is healping the cheetah, but we humans are destroying this wonderfull spiecies, like many others...
It is not him, but i had once seen a similar "half - King" (real King Cheetahs have more distinct stripes) cheetah who had a hind leg completely broken on some movie. I mean in tiny bits. They could mostly recover him, the leg remained a little shorter though. He should be living at De Wildt in South Africa now, participating in breeding (Most of the king cheetahs in the world come from that society). So most probably he is also OK already, it is an another story if he is free though...
You can't mix chemicals even if it's medication, it could cause harmful side effects for the animal so therefore you do it one by one. He never felt a thing tho due to him being asleep at the time.
i wanna be a vet or help endangered animals watch my keeping and killing animals is wrong hey do u remeber a cheetah called toki if u do message me back
I knew that ;-) That is why he's so precious. I wish they had mentioned that in the video. Boy he is giving them hell now for all of those sticks in his leg!
I absolutely love animals my mother is an x zoo worker and she worked with all kinds of animals big cats, rhinos, elephants etc. and she knows so much and I wanna know everything I can about them
Many of the people watching this video seem to have misunderstood its key message. The cheetah was injured in a game reserve and taken to a vet to have his wound treated. The cheetah's detention is only temporary until the wound heels, when the cheetah will be released back into the game reserve (which runs for hundreds of square miles). The cheetah is probably more intelligent than some of the contributors to this thread.
do you really think so?, to preserve species for the world of tommorrow and to keep delicate eco-systems balanced and stable for years to come, dont you think it would be better for cpative breeding to be used?
saralee27. You sent me a reply to my comment, but sence nothing is lining up under the replies and you have replied to others. I can't tell which one you sent me. Could you please repeat it? Thanks disturbedhorse
pretty soon the only animals you will be able to see are the ones in a zoo. zoo's are not terrible places. if this cheetah was in the wild a poacher probably would have already killed it.
To all you idiots who say that the cat is ungrateful how the hell would you like being put in a cage! True Dr. Rogers helped the cheetah but most likely the cheetah doesn't know it. It's a wild creature that wants to be free just like any person wouldn't want to be stuck in a cage.
That was one Angry Kitten!
