OMG you have to re upload this please... who cared if they take it down again. This is my all time favorate video on here. I need to hear it again...... you did such a fantastic job on it...
can't you upload it on rapidshare and give the link in the description of this video? since ever i wanted to see it again. i even let the song play simultaneously :) but the missing dialogue takes away the whole experience.
if it weren't for the music I never would have noticed that this isn't an original trailer (i was four when it came out, so i didn't see the original trailer, just the movie someday on tv)
you know what, if this trailer was available when the movie came out, the film would have been a massive success possibly spawning a sequel, damn good work, don't fret though, Kaare Andrews pitched a new heman movie and I got great hopes that a new heman will be made, I got faith in Kaare, since he already has the hulk under his belt
Damn good work... and whilst I had no problem with the way the finished film was done, I think you brought out the film's darker side in your preview... I loved your choice in dialogue. especially the 'lonliness of evil' line, that line has resonated with me since I was a kid. Skeletor was the first villain for me that actually showed his weakness and vulnerability... brilliant work.
A succesful attempt to film the movie with the original characters of the toy series (without comic or looney characters) would have made this film a classic, like Star Wars, the Dark Crystal or Willow...in 1987 the Motu craze was at his peak, there were millions of boys and girls who were simply dissapointed
This just goes to show how much of a difference a good editor can make... You literally found the only 90 seconds of the film that wasn't blasphemous to MOTU lore.
Good work - just my five cents here: This truly would have been a great movie when it would have had the feeling like your self-created trailer. The characters were casted well (Dolph made a great HE MAN - FRANK LANGELLA a perfect SKELETOR) - the production Design and the costumes were ahead it's time. Oh... and TRAJAN is the "movie-trailer font..."
The more I watch this video the more beautiful I think it is. It actually makes the live action movie look good. Although as a whole we all know it sucked. It still gives me hope that 1 day, we will see He-man done PROPERLY!
That was a top notch job. The sound editing was flawless. The only gripe I have is that the choice of music could've been better. There are tracks from the LotR soundtrack that would've been more appropriate. Still, tis a fine job anyway.

Wow, youtube has become really fucking shit in the last month or so.
So many videos have either had sounds removed or just gone completely.
Guess all good things come to an end.
Though I suggest a new account and re-upload!

it' s missing some actions, you know the sword and everything, He-Man fighting versus Skeletor!
and the music is not adapted imho.
but the video mix is still fine.

I got chills. A very gripping teaser for a film that didn't get a fair shake but launched some successful careers.

I reckon FX and budget issues forced the production team to set most of the action on Earth.

I remember this film from my childhood. I would never have thought it would have worked with this music, but it actually goes really well!

It was released Christmas in the UK 1987 (Boxing Day to be exact).
The original US release was Summer 87.
