  • Completely split between getting this and the mustang GT. The mustang is faster, yeah, and has backseats, but this has more of a connection to the road. This is a proper sports car. A damn shame to anybody who buys the more expensive yet slow cars just for brand image :(

  • once i get rid of my GF im getting this car

    thanks Nissan

  • this car and yellow i just came a little

  • The pricing is really sweet for all that performance, the Z will definitely be on my list when I shop for a sports car.

  • He missed 3rd at 3:09

  • Best review I've seen - you covered everything unlike the others!

I definitely want to buy one now!!

  • Im going too buy a 370z in 4 days, coupe, all black, sports and touring package, 33,000 miles, very excited and its my first car

  • that's it! I want one.

  • freakin' YouTube on iPhone (just limit my damn message if it won't fit). Sorry people...

    cars should.

  • Sorry, YouTube cut my message off. The remainder was...

built with power AND handling in mind. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of the old Z28s, but these two cars were built for two different purposes.

My only real complaint with the Z is poor visibility (something alot of sports cars exhibit). The driving experience is great, whenever I'm on twisty roads, I can't keep the huge grin off my face. This car is just superb and invokes the kind of passion for driving that all true great sports

  • I've had my 370 for about a year and a half now. I still get as excited driving it every day as I did the first day I bought it. Just an excellent car and good bang for buck. FYI, those numbers posted by Motorweek are a little high. This car can do 0-60 in under 5 secs. and the 1/4 mile should be closer to 13.1 (my friend's stock 370 did it in 12.9).

To the person who made the Z28 comment, understand that with the Z it's not all about pure straight line power (as the Z28 excels at), but is

  • Good job Nissan. Your sports car is ALMOST as fast as a 17 year old Z28. You are making serious progress. HaHaHa

  • i like look of the 350 z more

  • This car is good for noobs.

  • @EnnesX so what kinda car would u suggest?

  • @EnnesX It's good for us because you can't afford one :-)

  • @MagicAyrtonforever And you would know that how? By the way, get Aryton out of your name, because there is no way a real driver would be attracted to this car. This car was made to appeal to simple minded laymen who judge a car on the basis of acceleration and roadholding, equating power to speed and roadholding to handling. If you've ever seen any interview with Nissan engineers and executives you would know the FM platform Z was designed for newbies.

  • @EnnesX Idiot...

  • @MagicAyrtonforever Don't feed the troll.

  • @bitnissan :-) Thankyou. I won't.

  • UGLY!

  • you guys know that nissan fucked up on this and the gtr they put organic brakes on these cars so after a couple laps around the track the brakes fail and you go straight into the wall a test driver got hurt driving one of these around the track and nissan knew about the brakes but didnt do anything till that incident happens

  • The Z34 is a good value to be sure but the engine feels (and sounds) like it's going to fall apart at high revs and the 3:48 mark is proof that nissan needs to step up to a mechanical limited-slip. For people that seriously value powertrain refinement the VQ37 isn't the best choice. Also this car (for some reason) doesn't perform as well on-track as its raw numbers would suggest but the stats/specs sure are impressive and if engine thrashiness isn't a big deal to you, it's difficult to overlook.

  • Um I like this car! Cool, who the hell would buy a Beamer over this!

  • ill take one

  • 0-60 should be under 5secs and the 1/4 should be about 13secs becaue my 350z is 5.3 to 60 and 13.7 in the 1/4

  • Why do their camera's shooting look like a old 80's educational video?

  • Haha, I don't think they've changed their equipment in about 3 years.

  • I meant 30 years

  • how many of you people who are knocking BMWs actually own any? I have had 4 of them and none of them have let me down. Sure you have electrical problems but thats with any car, and the more complex it is, the more things will break. Also if im not mistaken consumer reports said the E39 5 series was the best car they have ever tested. And comparing a BMW to a Kia? LOL

  • fucking ownd

  • NISMO, NISSAN, INFINITI FTW!!

  • Me too! But this piece of technology is long over due. And thankfully, there's an on/off button for it.

  • It's so annoying how the guy ad-libs on the segments. At the end he was like; " Ama-Zzz-ing. What a dork.

  • Great machine. Looks good. Is good!

  • Lighter, shorter, lower and more power? Recipe for progress. I hate how cars always seem to become larger and heavier with each new generation. Sports especially need to avoid this.

  • Lotus!

  • yea when u love Z's and ur 6'6 it could hurt ur heart to get in a 370z and relize u dont fit well

  • bust your legs you'll shrink a couple.

  • isn't that what the convertible is for? :P i'm kidding! but that does stink to have that issue.....

  • @n0c0n BMW= Big Money Wasted

  • somewhat settle???.............LOL

  • your entitled to whatever opinion you like but it looks nothing like a crossfire

  • Sorry I meant the Porsche Cayenne. That's also a weird car.

  • Why the fuck would anyone buy a BMW Z4 over this car. This car has more performance, better looks, very nice interior and costs $20,000 less. And parts won't cost as much to replace either unlike the BMW

  • the reason this is almost 20k less than a Z4 id b/c this is a coupe, the Z4 is a convertible roadster.

Motortrend just recently featured a litely optioned 370Z roadster, thing totaled to about 50K. (same field as the Z4).

Now ask yourself, what would you rather pay 50k for. A BMW or a Nissan?

  • I would rather pay $50k for a Nissan than BMW, since it's cheaper to maintain, also BMW has a lower realibility rating than Kia. With a Bmw your paying for a name, and nothing but electrical problems, trust me on that one!

  • nah, haha, those are just popular misconceptions people just LOVE to throw at BMW. My 530i has over 60k miles, guess what? NO PROBLEMS! If it had any, i wudda got rid of the thing by now.

And c'mon man, you know there is more that goes into a BMW than just the name. Im not gonna argue that they arent overrated, but they are still some of the finest driving cars. No refuting that.

  • I will agree with you that Bmw's are great riding cars, but they really do have electrical problems. My 550i was a considered a lemon after 2 ECU's and a crazy i-drive system, that didn't work when it was cold outside, i had the lease terminated early. Sad to say it was my first and probally last Bmw.

  • Seriously? Yes keep loving your beloved BMW, because according to experiences that many people have had with their Mini Cooper (which is owned and designed by bmw now...) they aren't happy. Other than the fact that one single owner has had his drivers side window replaced about 9 times, and the fact that everything is so EXPENSIVE to fix on those cars... it's pointless. If anything breaks you better be willing to shell out a LOT of money to fix something simple.

  • @4MATICbenz I love bmw but I read that the bmw 7 series is the worst car to own after the warranty ends because it is so expensive to maintain ~!

  • is that so? i used to work on kias and they broke all the time. how many have you ever owned?

  • @4MATICbenz my grandma haha looked at both and picked the Z roadster mainly because she thought the bmw had to small of a body and her car with the options she wanted was 45k with leather special paint and other crap ( i doubt shes concerned about resale value as she is 72

  • Plus the Resale Value :D

  • @scarface1224md WHY?Simple, because they are bigotically conservative, foolishly unbased european admirers. They think and want that they should be buying some prestige as well, that's why fake but well advertised european prestige is their escape. Japanese and Korean cars are far better deals than european cars.

  • @scarface1224md , thank you, thats why i trust nissan!

bmw's are nice cars though, but i'l stick with my nissan sentra 97 and titan 06, so far so good:)

  • @scarface1224md ...Why do you need to swear or use foul language to articulate your point? People buy BMW because they can afford it. Its more classy with better build quality than 370z (zed). More middle income earners do prefer BMW or should i say people that do not use foul language!!! Please in the future do not use colourful language. Many thanks sir.

  • @MrRoyck10

lmao, if you dont like curse words, then please go find another video site, or stray away from my comments. And you say more middle income earners do prefer BMW, and they dont use foul language??

Then tell me why its the rappers and broke people living in the ghetto that mostly buy BMWs? Articulate that faggot.

  • @scarface1224md Because they are badge snobs and think that they look better in a BMW, plus gullible women go more for BMW guys.. me? .. I bought the 370Z beacuse I only care about performance :-)

  • @scarface1224md because this car look like a fish. lol.

  • @zyxw2011 thats an opinion. The fact that the 370z is faster and costs less than the Z4 is a FACT

  • @scarface1224md its not faster to 60 4.6 for z4 and its not quicker in the quarter mile looks are opinion......and im pretty sure that z4 handles better come on now its a bmw

  • @default919 If you want to be technical, the 370Z does 0-60 in 4.7 sec, with a 1/4 mile of 13.3 @ 105.7mph. The Z4 does 0-60 in 4.8 sec, with a 1/4 mile of 13.5 @ 106mph. Futhermore, the 370Z has .99g of grip where the Z4 only has .83g So your logic of it handling better is way off and so is you saying the 1/4 mile and 0-60 times are quicker. You saying, "I'm pretty sure that the z4 handles better, come on now it's a BMW" is the biggest OPINION I've ever seen. Theres the facts for you.

  • @default919 dumb.

  • @scarface1224md Because they can.

  • @scarface1224md Fuck the Z4!!! This 370Z is fucking sexy!! It just sucks that I'm too tall to drive it!

  • @scarface1224md

You aint lying abot that. Real talk.

  • I see a cartoon face from the front, same as the updated RX-8. What gives Japan? Please stop giving your great sports cars anime faces. If Toyota comes out with a goofy smiling Supra I'm going to be pissed.

  • you know toyota will do it LOL I guess its whats in style now

  • This car definitely gives porsche a run for it's money. I love the 993's but now I'd consider this car for sure. this car is cheaper to own, just as quick if not quicker, and looks great.

  • The best comparo I can think of is the 80's Vette. It was a slab of unfinished-looking blah. The revamped Vette with it's sculptured lines is a more complete, and beautiful looking piece of machinery.

  • The 350 was an unfinished, and in many places, uninspired piece of work (classy is one word I WOULDN'T use to describe the car). In every way possible the 370 looks not only finished, but much better as well. It's beautiful from all sides.

The interior on the 350 is garbage and I'm thrilled Nissan has taken steps to address it.

  • 13.7 1/4 mile?? Something wrong there, I've seen tests where they got a slightly slower 0-60 but a 13.5 1/4 mile. The quickest test I've seen is 0-60 in 4.7 and a 13.3 1/4 mile which makes sense considering the power and low weight this car has. Does anyone know what the 0-60 times of the 7 speed version is?

  • LOL a-may-ZZing... LOL LOL

  • Motorweek runs every car they test slower than other auto mags. don't know where and who's testing these cars

  • beautiful car ,i like it . when it offers for chinese i will purchase at least 2 . haha !

  • I really like this car's looks but I never liked Nissans before. This car will make current 350Z owners either very envious, jealous, or will make them trade up to a 370Z.

  • No, not in my case. I think the 370z's styling is less mature than the 350z, and the interior is way overdone. The interior of the 350z feels more in line with the Z-car heritage in my opinion (I have a 350z, had a 300zx, and my uncle has a 260z). The interior isn't awful on the 370z, it's just way too contrived. The exterior is less classy and more juvenile.

  • To each his/her own. IMO, the 350Z is a contrived bar of soap. I'll take the sharper handling, sharper looking, and more powerful 370Z over the last gen.

  • that Z looks nice!

  • NISSAN dose it agen one more good car.

  • wat the... they got 119ft on a 60 miles to full stop? It was 103 on the other vids... what a difference... who am i suppose to trust now. 5.1 is slower than what others claim too.. but STILL sexy

  • well this video takes an average, other sites might just take the best stop distance. so maybe these brakes show some fade.

  • very nice, Nissan did a great job on the new Z :)

  • cool
