@TheOneThatFellInLove Mytho always loved rue that part of his heart was reserved for her and her only. Duck thinks of Mytho as a brother at the end if she were still human she would have been Fakirs girlfriend for sure. Rue never wavered in her love for Mytho one bit. Fakir put on a stoic facade to hide his feelings of pain, fear, and love for Duck that only became apparent in the last few episodes. Duck understood his feelings and returned his love, but a guy dating marrying a duck is weird.

You know what? Screw all you people that hate Rue! All she wanted was to be with Mytho and she would do anything for him. She is actually very nice. I can understand why you might hate her at the beginning, but at the end? Seeing her so desperate to try to save Mytho, even to the point of screaming for her own heart to be taken rather than his. And her telling Ahiru that she loves her. Rue really isn't a bad person. She actually reminds me of Utau from Shugo Chara.

@anime4evaloved I agree with Amutofan. One of the things that I love about the series is that it DIDN'T have your average happy ending. This series was far from average. And I can see her comparison. Both Utau and Rue have someone who they love and would do anything for. Plus, their tsundere relationship with the main character. AND they are voiced my Nana Mizuki. The fact of the matter is, Rue isn't really at fault. She thought that she was doing what was best for the person she loved.

@anime4evaloved She was being deceived by the monster raven. And yes, Ahiru would have screamed those words. I'm kind of glad she didn't though. I think that she and Fakir belong together and it gave Rue and very significant amount of character development. Also, if you watch the end, you see Fakir with Ahiru writing something. I personally think that he might be writing for her to be a human again.
