i am a mom whose one and only 4 yr old son...is suspected of having autism spectrum disorder. I have become extremely depressed..it feels as if my hopes and dreams have been crushed. yes....i had never suspected him of having a problem...maybe b/c i didnt have much knowledge of autism .. i thought he was just a difficult child( hard time getting him dressed, hard time feeding him, hard time getting him). please tell me when you realized your son had a problem?
