If one believes that life begins at conception, or some point prior to birth, then abortions amount to murder. Every US state ought to be able to decide on the matter of abortion through a vote, it shouldn't be forced upon us by the Supreme Court as it was. You also fail to mention the obvious abortion alternative of adoption.

I know this was made a long time ago, but I completely agree. McCain was way too old and I have a very strong feeling he would have died in office and America would have totally been over if Palin became president. It just came out that her husband Todd was heavily involved in her decision making and she recently said that if Obama wanted respect then he should go to war with Iran. The job is so stressful that Obama has already started going gray.

When I decide who I'm going to vote for, I focus on what their policies are, and how they will benefit the country, not if they are "nice." That's something that you would say to a child. "Oh don't be afraid of the doctor, he's a nice man." I voted for Obama primarily because of his energy plan, not because I think he would be pleasant to have dinner with, though I'm sure he would be.
