a reference to Scott McKenzie's San Fransisco, in which he says,

Yeah, it's a direct nod to those lyrics. But it mourns the loss of all the youth, optimism and art of the 60's "lay some flowers on the grave stone" instead of "wear the flowers in your hair".

And the next line describes what the world is like today "There's music on the station, but I'm just listening to cold wind whistling".

This shit is a requiem for utopia. It's beautiful.

A lot of history, simply. The two lead singers are married, and the male of that couple also has a brother in the band. That's less than half of the band, but you can get a basic idea of how close they probably are.

They released it on a pretty limited clear 7" vinyl EP. I got mine on eBay, not sure if there are any up at the moment, you should check it out. They also featured on the 'Six Feet Under, Vol. 2: Everything Ends' soundtrack. Good luck!

You can still find the 7" in good record shops in the US, it wasn't extremely limited or anything, no need for eBay. The soundtrack is a good buy too.
