  • and how many speed have your automatic trans.. ???

  • ahahah :D ohhh men! :)

  • @newkororaa Not stock, Gas= 1.8 - 2.0 - 2.3 - 2.3-16 - 2.5-16 - 2.6 and a few AMG, Brabus engines that exceed 3.0L

    Diesel 2.0 - 2.5 and 2.5 turbo.

    ;)

  • its to slow for an 2.5 Turbodiesel. In one other Video its much faster. I think the Automatik is not for fast acceleration

  • I have a dead 2.2 liter 190 d 1985. I am looking to put a 2.5 liter diesel for more hp. Would i have to change the transmission or would that engine fit with the current transmission. .

  • i am looking for this one in my country but it seems like nobody is driving these type of cars , they drive them in gas not it diesel , i want 2.5 turbo diesel , its so hard to find, they are sooo rare

  • I have a Mercedes SLR and i hit 200mph in no time. I would tell everyone to get that car. It also is beautiful.

  • Sure.

  • Its chill.

  • you people even don't know whatcha got uder the hood. there are no capacities as 1.9 and 2.2 in merc 190. geez...

  • 20 years ago that was really fast for a diesel engine, pretty rare car though.

  • Lols just go with a 1989 Mercedes V8 4.2L if you want some midrange accel

  • I love how my 1985 2.2l 190d reaches fourth gear at 40mph and takes 2 minutes of flooring to reach 100mph and this one does so in 15 seconds

  • kmph not mph

  • watch?v=PhoO4b3c7iw&feature=related

  • i don't like automatique but it's really fast

  • if only they made the 190d 2.5t with a manual in the US...

  • it's a turbo, so 126 hp. the 90 hp is non-turbo.

  • allright i didn't see: its 1989 so its 90 ps

if it was the 126 ps version it wood hit 100 at second gear, I'm looking for that car, hard to find :(

  • Is this the 2.5 90 ps or the 2.5 126 ps???

  • According to specifications listed by Mercedes Manual it should do 0-100 in 11.5 seconds, which is what I've timed using stopwatch too. The vid shows around 12 second, but the resolution on the vid is not very reliable. Getting 2 seconds off spec is highly unlikely i.m.h.o. Weigth of the car including myself is 1460 KG.

  • It seems like it is taking too long, I think mine is about 2 seconds faster to 100- perhaps shifting while the r.p.m.s are lower would shorten your times.
