This isn't the first time that the FDA has approved an obviously harmful substance. Aspartame... The findings on this substance were merely political, not scientific. Every scientific test done on aspartame showed it to be a carcinogen. President Reagan ousted the FDA commissioner and replaced him. At the same time, he issued an executive order ceasing the FDA from having anything further to do with aspartame until the new commissioner arrived. It was, then, approved.
The Food and Death Administration is an obsolute joke.
