The american are really lucky people.Their college are amazing, all highly equiped, they can learn by doing. In my country ,Brazil the colleges are almost junkyards , and the student have to remeber things and learn engineering by themselves, and the professors don't care about the students.

OUr program is for the technician. However, those who do not take a job right away (we have businesses that hire our graduates immediately), can transfer for their engineering degree.
This is probably a really dumb question but I'm only just contemplating getting into all this, whats the difference between a ME technician and an ME engineer? Is one harder to become than the other or does one take longer than the other?
@darkmarc86; Mechatronics is the amalgamation of mechanics, electronics, and pnuematics all guided by computer control. If you consider an ATM, you have a computer guiding motors and sensors. If you are looking for movement, look no further than your card going in/out, or the money coming to you.
I'll take a bachelor in this and hack all the ATMs :D
