That left was working for a long time. I'm not sure how it's doing now. Usually, Venice will work best on a mid to high tide. Like many beach breaks, it can close out if the swell gets over shoulder high. The sand bars are pretty fickle. A storm wiped out the ones on the north side this winter.
34 years ago in '77 it was a sand slamming steep shorepound even dbl overhead.wow erosion and time have really made a big difference. I lived
at 3215 OFW right there. Nice sandbars have formed now over the years...

what type of swell does venice south side of pier take? i heard it gets good for longboarding in the morning
