I love this documentary. Nick was such a perfect choice. His expressions alone were enough for me. I never buy movies, but this one I want to have to share with others.
Excellent documentary, a reflection of life while learning about yoga. Kate achieves enlightenment! because she shows us how different we are and yet how similar we are all - the only thing that matters in the end is that we are happy, no matter how we get there. I believe Kate and Nick are happier people because of their struggles, and i enjoyed the honesty this film carries. I think this documentary is brilliant: honest, interesting, educational, intelligent, real. Thank you Kate.
AWESOME movie, and Nick Rosen is not hard on the eyes either, nice casting ;) such a great concept, finally on the screen, enjoyed every moment. Funny, thought provoking and moving!
Just saw the movie in Portland today, I liked it. My favorite person was the guru in Vrindavan, I don't remember his name though. I am surprised thought that they didn't go to Rishikesh which for me would be more of the heart of the Yoga movement, Vrindavan is more for Hare Krishnas. I just wish more people were into this, it was just me and my wife in the theater tonight.
I saw this movie pre-release. All I can say is: see it, see it, see it! It was fascinating, funny, uplifting and real. Not just for followers of yoga, but for anyone who has pursued a winding spiritual, intellectual or personal journey. And it doesn't hurt that Nick is super cute.
My Uncle Norman is awesome! He teaches yoga in Hawaii and is seen in this trailer stating that twisting one's self into a pretzel doesn't have any thing to do with enlightenment! Love you Norman! Carrie Allen
God! I hope this movie comes to Asia!!!! Please sent it over here! I have to see it! and people are really starting to get into yoga here but don't get the transformation part of it!? Yet!
Looks great. I love the scenes in India. Beautiful. Mystical. I am looking forward to seeing more of this. I don't do yoga but think about it all the time. Maybe this convinces me to try.
I hope someone sends out the premier date soon. I don't want to miss this.
Fantastic trailer, great job! As a yoga teacher I am continually faced with many questions from my students about how they can deepen their individual practice. I often suggest books and websites of which I have learned from, but for those visual learners they need something more. This film will benefit both the beginner as well as the intermediate practitioner. So looking forward to seeing the entire movie. Namaste~
Can't wait too see if Nick becomes "enlighten"-ed. I practice yoga and enjoy it, but when asked about it,I have trouble explaining what it actually does for me other than it feels good. So I look forward to watching the entire film and Nick's process and progress. Great job.
Amazing! As a filmmaker and a new student of Yoga, I find this a thrilling combination of the two. As a piece of film it looks beautiful and wonderfully constructed. And the topic is so very interesting, Yoga has slowly been coming to the mainstream masses in American culture and I think this is a film that many many people would be interested in seeing. Good luck with it! Looking forward to seeing the entire piece!
Fabulous way to introduce yoga to everyone! Yoga is a mystery to most people unless you are practicing it. I do believe that this movie will be a good way to introduce this ancient practice to people. Special thank you to the producer, crew and Nick for doing a wonderful job of producing, well done! Looking forward to the movie!
Fascinating! I am anxious to see the rest of the film now. Being someone who gets really into yoga and then stops for awhile, I think this film will encourage me to find time to make yoga a constant in my NYC life. Congratulations on what appears to be a beautiful and meaningful film.
OK what is up with the theater release bullcrap? You mean we have to wait until it meanders through some film festival circuit before we can order it on DVD because it never made our local screens?
This is the internet age. Make the movie available for download for a fee from your website. SD and HD versions. Look at all the comments about peeps wanting to watch this movie right now!
hurrah! This is wonderful. From what i can see in the preview it has a rich combination of content, imagery, searching and sense of humor. I can't wait to see the movie!
looks like all the hard work has paid off. many people are going to want to watch this movie - people who do yoga, people who are thinking about starting it, people who are interested in ways to improve their life... i'm only 14 and i was learning about buddhism in world cultures this year so i love the clever title. i think this film takes an interesting view on the effects yoga can have on an average person. and i can't wait to see it!! =] (good job executive producers....wink wink)
interesting concept...as a tester of lots of types of yoga, I was laughing along with some of those out-there approaches. looking forward to seeing the film
Definitely interested. Wondering if enlightenment in the west may be reserved for the good looking. But I get it, the film needs to be attractive. Look forward to seeing the entire.
I've never done yoga (for many of the reasons that Nick seems to struggle with). I'm curious where he ends up and what he learns. Finally a yoga film for skeptics...
Very intrigued by this trailor. Would love to know more about this movie. Great cinematography and the main character makes you want to know more about what happens to him and where the journey leads. I am a non-yoga person (un-enlightened I guess) but still am interested in seeing this flick.
