  • Tight jams

  • i like it when dos he comes to holland

  • jesus christ fuckin rape the wah pedal calm yourself haha

  • @chazyfizle Its funny to me that guitarists use the distortion pedal all the time and nobody say anything about it but if Devon uses the wah pedal very much people get on his case. It isn't done as much, but its no less tasteful than distortin or any other effect.

  • not good. sorry.

  • nice!!!!

  • Nice song but I'm under-welmed by this guitar performance.

  • they are a great band to go and listen to live. who cares about the wah, its still sounds nice. Now its no Allman Bros but its good rock. But dont bash STL music scene Devon, when your out of state. Dont be mad that your not the best Jam/Rock band.

  • I don't get why everyone is saying he's just holding the wah the whole time - he adds it here and there, but tastefully. Sounds pretty good to me.

  • stop pickin' on the wah i love it & robin trower ! nice job devon !

  • Im sorry but....He's just not that good.. And get off of the wah........Shit. I like a good cuban cigar but every now and then I take it out of my mouth.

  • devon really likes his wah doesn't he...

  • real niice.. keep on with the great work.. i love the guitar effects.. for real u ROCK

  • Devon, you have your Uncle's light shining through! Keep Duane's Guitar Strap close to your heart and continue to 'listen' to all of his signs. I get goosebumps just watching you! I bet your Uncle wished he had your beautiful voice to accompany his own magnificent guitar playing. There has never been anyone like Duane Allman ... until YOU ! Brilliant individuality blended up with our music from the past.! You show us in 'Mahalo' that Duane is sending us a great gift. Keep it streaming! xo

  • this is just a wah version of les brers. Hey just cause you last name is Allman doesn't mean you can jack their songs. At least don't say its an original

  • @mtnjam22 there are only 11 notes to choose from man, calm down. and his dad and uncle stole riffs from tons of jazz and blues legends. every one does. you HAVE to. going back to the whole 11 note thing again

  • @JKryanX He used the same combination of 11 notes as someone else.

  • Great!

  • hey if you like Honeytribe and you live around the philadelphia area you should come check them out with local band Kickin Bear at The North Star Bar on August 5th!

  • uhhh thats duanes strap hes wearing! lucky sob!

  • Great music...Great people. I catch them every time they come to Toledo

  • What a pretentious prick. Smirks at the thought of doing a cover and then wah wanks for 10 minutes. Great performance.

  • Where the hell can I get a guitar strap like his?

  • Badass to know that I have done sound for this awesome group of individuals.

  • itenensivedunco, you play then you can be told about how you not worthy to play with gregg...got one word for you dude ......go pound some sand

  • damn im diggin them

  • i seen them at schwaggg and yeah they are definately well worth the trip

  • you rock guys! With Allman blood, what else would u get..

  • with all due respect...i dont think devon is good enough to play with the allman brothers band.

  • Yes he is !!!!!!

  • With all due respect. I don't think you know waht the fuck you are talking about.

  • I agree with you. He couldn't replace Warren or Derek. But it would be so cool to have another Allman in the band once again. He's great and I love him in this setting. Just not at the other guys level. YET!

  • sweeeeeet

  • i saw them opening for the outlaws and i got their outographes

  • i saw em live they play a kickass show awesome song

  • Looks like the Ole Man....plays like his Uncle Duane

  • He's also using a hand-made leather guitar strap just like Duane used to use--you can see it in a lot of the old pictures of him. And of course the Les Paul; what more can I say.

  • One thing about Honeytribe; from an Allman family tradition standpointDevon is breaking away by having just a 4pc band. That being said, I'd like to hear him do something with Derek Trucks !!! I know Derek is probably a more versatile player, but tonally I think it'd really bring back that ABB dual guitar sound.

  • Derek and Warren are certainly no slouches when it comes to creating a lovely dual guitar sound. But, one has to wonder if they'll invite Gregg's sons into the ABB when the three remaining original members can no longer perform or, biology being what it is, mortality catches up. I'd love to see the band carry on as the Duke Ellington Orchestra does to this day.

  • It's interesting you mention the other sons. I'm not sure if they play. But back in the late 90's there was a band called Bloodline which featured Barry Oakley Jr on bass, Waylon Krieger, son of Robby Krieger of The Doors, Erin Davis on drums, son of Miles Davis...and the only one with no legacy was Joe Bonamassa on guitar...Warren Haynes played on a track also. And for carrying on in the tradition of Sir Duke, I saw video of Dave Brubeck and his grown sons..very cool !!

  • Thanks for your reply. I've looked at some of Bloodlines' videos on you Tube--wonderful music, and it was nice to see some footage of Berry's and Miles's sons playing.

  • r those fuggin tracks all over devon's right fore-arm?????!!!!

  • nope thats a tat

  • You could say he's a chip off the old block, but Devon is a major talent in his own right, what a tone, what a great band, and a killer song, got to see them when they come to the UK!!

  • Devon is apparently a child of Gregg's first marriage. What's the woman's name and during what years were they married? He said he grew up in Texas; did he have much contact with his famous dad during his formative years.

  • gregg was maried to Cher i think during the early 80's and this is what happened ^^^^

  • No, Gregg was married to Cher in the mid-'70s. Devon's half brother, Elijah Blue, was born of that union. He's also a musician: guitarist and singer with a hard rock outfit called Deadsy. Devon was Gregg's son from his first marriage in Macon, just prior to his meeting Cher--if memory serves.
