I called at her house once in the late sixties when she/they (Marty Wilde) lived in Blackheath. I was a part-time 'knocker-boy' (door-step salesman) and tried to sell Marty a vacuum cleaner. He saw me off ...curtly but polite. Seen him since at his shows. Keep on rocking Marty.

"One Night With You" was called originally "One Night of Sin", it was a Smiley Lewis song (he had his biggest hit with "I Hear You Knocking" in 1955). I think Elvis recorded versions of this with both lyrics, "of Sin" and the rather bowdlerized "with You". Never mind, Kim's version is fine!!! She's dressed to kill, too, in this one :)

i hope you take this in the right way. you remind me of deborah harry of blondie back in the early days of ''the tide is high'' and ''heart of glass''. she was sensual and let's face it...one of the main reasons that band hit it big. many have tried to emulate her. she still looks good today for her 60's.

It's actually not a "video". It was a show on British TV ("LOVE ME TENDER: A TRIBUTE TO THE MUSIC OF ELVIS PRESLEY" from 1987) where assorted personalities each did an Elvis song. Others on the show included Roger Daltrey, Meatloaf, Ben E King, Kiki Dee, Pet Shop Boys, Boy George etc. Kim Wilde did 2 other numbers - A Big Hunk O Love and Treat Me Nice, but these were not as good.
