All the solos were dry and tasteless, and although this sounds REALLY good, there isn't a lot of feel to it. Maynard was all about feel.. seems kinda pointless to play one of his tunes this dry.

I expected a lot more from an music academy sax section and that tenor solo. its not that they're all female and im not trying to be sexist, it was just a pretty weak sound - she should be ripping that solo up! the rest of it was awesome and that trumpet player has serious chops!

I'm pretty sure Maynard didn't arrange this piece. It would've been out of print by the time this band was able to get their hands on it.

I am sorry to be contrary to so many nice people, but this band should not be allowed to play jazz. They sound like a bunch of stick figures. Someone PLEASE teach them how to FEEL music, thanks !!!

theres a bit of a delay between the sound and the video... probably how they recorded it but that might be what youre seeing
