  • "They're different from us which means they can't be trusted" o.O

  • OMG still getting goosebumps in 2012.

Despite the historical inaccuracies, Pocahontas is one the best Disney movies ever. Great animation, action packed, great music and the best ending ever.

  • This video gives me goosebumps, man.. whoa.

  • does anyone else agree that now that you are grown, looking back some of the movies we loved so much as a child were so violent? oh my goodness, hahaha!

  • GREAT VIDEO I LOVE THIS

  • Ah, the original song. :)

  • i remember when i was a kid i was WOW look at all those cannons

  • If the first half of this video had been the commercial for this movie then this movie would be a number one best seller to this day. SO much drama, SO much heart and SO true to human nature right to it's core.

  • i love Pocahontas

  • Oh, if only the entire world could learn the lessons Disney movies taught us....the world would be a much more peaceful place.

  • The reason the world has had so many wars and so much destruction is because men have run it for almost all the past. If women ran things, the native americans and english would have just had lunch, and talked it over.

  • @smileitsjuilia56 If women had been running the world, they would have got lost on the way to America.

  • @laughingmyturbanoff1 I hate sexist people like you. Your so unfunnny.

  • @smileitsjuilia56 But....it's the truth.

  • @laughingmyturbanoff1

No it's a horrible opinion that youve probably been taught since birth and i feel bad for you

  • @smileitsjuilia56 I have sisters and a mother. It's 100% the truth. They couldn't find their asshole with a map.

  • @smileitsjuilia56 Actually, it wasn't gender. It was mostly just the differences. If you were raised during their generation, made to believe the things that they had to believe, then you would have thought this way to.

  • @smileitsjuilia56 Thank u!!!!!! i finally found someone who feels the same way. The world is dealing with so much BS because of Mens with their fucking pride and greed. And they don't seem to get the understanding that because of them, good people are getting hurt and killed. I bet if a woman were to be in charge, all of that would stop.

  • "I'm so sorr-" THIS IS WHAT WE FEARED

  • "...They're not like you or me. Which means they must be evil..."

Wow, that is a really messed up way to think. No wonder people treat blacks, mexicans, and gays so badly.

  • @MsNB1993 GREG BOYDS HERE, YOUR MALE SUPERIOR IN EVERY WAY!

GET OFF OF YOUR FATHER'S COMPUTER AND BACK TO THE KITCHEN.

FEMALES HAVE ONE DUTY IN LIFE WHICH YOU DO ONLY PARTIALLY WELL, AND THAT IS TO MAKE SURE THAT MEN HAVE FOOD TO EAT!!!

    DO YOUR JOB!!!

  • I always wanted Pocahontas to die. My sister had a doll of her and I snapped the bitches head off.

  • europeans are evil!!

  • @fissioncrusier that is so not true. not all of any race is evil or Good

  • Amazing Animation.

  • @zaitesushion that fucking me LMZAO so hard xD thank you

  • @zaitesushion You my friend are a true poet XD

  • that echo in the next half is pretty cool

  • D: Did they edit EVERY old Disney song with a line of any amount of contraversy? It's "Here's what you get when the races are diverse!"

I get that racism is bad, but those who don't learn from the past are destined to repeat it. So how is it better to pretend that it was just "I only hate this race" versus "I only like my own race"? Really even without the ignoring the past part I don't see how that's an improvement. Hate is hate is hate and it doesn't matter how focused or widespread it is. :(

  • I think that polish version is better :)))

  • "They're different from us, they can't be trusted" Human attitude towards each other in a nutshell.

  • i like all the people on the movie they rock :D

  • I use to say cabbages, cabbages when i was little!! Silly Me!! :)

  • This what the furries and furry haters are singing right now.

  • honestly the white man were the savages...

  • @EducatedIdiot97 I agree with you on that but in the white man's mind they saw them as savages.

  • the chief sounds a lot like tigger xD

  • *making coleslaw* cabbages, cabbages, barely even human, killers at the core...

  • Comment removed

  • They all just happened to speak the same language, even if an entire ocean separates the two races. Makes perfect sense.

  • @WhiteFang813 Pocahontas also has a tree for a grandmother....its a movie

  • brilliant video !

  • it was jphn rolf who marries pocahontas. john smith had already returned to england.

  • I <3 this song soooooooo much!

  • I'm so so-THIS IS WHAT WE'VE FEARED

  • the scene where pocahontas is trying to save john smith always gave me anxiety as a child.....

  • @lovemeg1 it still gives me anxiety now

  • @lovemeg1 lol

  • @lovemeg1 It gives me anxiety still.

  • THEYRE CABBAGES CABBAGES!

  • im "indian" i was born on a res and i still get called a savage. im like seriously thats dumb so after they all started calling me that and i started to retaliate i started to get in trouble because i was saying things that were offensive.. must say white people and black are the same.. get off my ancestors land you dumb cunts

  • @bigtruckgirl09 We have no control over what our ancestors did to the native americans a couple hundred years ago.

  • @bigtruckgirl09 no offence dude but this may have once been your ancestors land but it our land now....we had a war and your people lost get over it.

  • @OrangeGriff i can feel the pain of this person tho being called a "Savage" is going way too far and deserves retaliation of some sort i gotta say tho the natives treated the land better than the european did and are doing right now tearing down the forests i once knew and use to look at and traverse and sing and dance in but now they're housing districts. I'm all for change but not to an extent that the ancient forests who breath in the mystery of life as well being chopped downn.

  • @bigtruckgirl09 If it were up to me, i'd be living it up in Europe. But a lot of us are pretty stuck here. And honestly, I've heard the term white-devil thrown about me way too much. I've personally done nothing.

  • @bigtruckgirl09 That sucks some people are just ignorant douche bags, my family is Native American on my moms side and we're mostly white folks on my dads. But here in UT people (and CA where I'm from) see a NA and think they're Mexican! And on top of that I've had Mexican friends go up to someone who NA and start speaking Spanish to them! lol But I've never heard of the kind of incidents you're talking about; mostly my friends think its exotic.. But in my family the booze stereotype is true!

  • @bigtruckgirl09 i like indians... nd im black (not racist)

  • @bigtruckgirl09 Im sorry. Black people were not brought here on our own. I dont want to be here.

  • @pillzez then we you are able to leave we are more than willing to let you go

  • @bigtruckgirl09 Youre not being any better than the people who put your ancestors there by calling folks who have no choice "dumb cunts". Right now youre acting like a dumb cunt. You get called a savage, i get called a nigger. The Caucasian people of today have nothing to do with either of the situations our ancestors went through. You seem like the only one holding a grudge. The next song you should listen to is "Little Wonders" from meet the robinsons. Let it go.

  • So Violent i miss old disney.

  • hmm could replace savages with 'MEN' always with the violence

  • Pocahontas taught me to see past skin and differences, Simba taught me that you should learn from your past, not run from it, and of course the circle of life, Belle taught me that its ok to be different, Mulan taught me the definition of honor, Jasmine taught me that sometimes in life you have to make things happen, and voice your opinion, and Woody taught me the definition of friendship: loyalty and fun times.

I really do worry about kids these days without the Classics.

  • SANDWICHES CABAGES!!!!!!

  • um yea girl UH ITS JUST YOUTUBE I KNOW HOW TO USe GRAMMAR!

  • Cabbages! Cabbages! Barely even human!

I remember the wind through my hair, running by Pocahontas. I remember being locked in the Beast's castle. I remember laughing and having fun with Mickey and his friends. I don't remember watching Teen Drama on stupid Disney Channel. Copy and paste this to all you favorite Disney Videos, and let's start a revolution. W. Disney forever

  • What do you expect, to find with all your lunches Here's what you get when the bread is picked up first They're ketchup's hellish red, they're only good with bread Deliciousness about to burst, THEY'RE...!!! SANDWICHES! SANDWICHES! TASTY AND DELICIOUS! SANDWICHES! SANDWICHES! TANGY TO THE CORE! They're good for you and me, which means they must be eaten Now we need to make some moorree!!! THEY'RE SANDWICHES! SANDWICHES! TASTY AND DELICIOUS! NOW WE NEED TO MAKE SOME MOORREE!!!

  • It was ironic how i was learning in class about the Euros taking over and killing natives :P then here i see pocahontas!

  • BANANANANNANANNANAANNANANANNAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • "they aren't like us so they must be evil." so judgemental.....@29 seconds

  • SANDWICHES SANDWICHES

  • @dthmon 1:11 We must sound the drums of RAR!!!!!!!!

  • lol

"AND SHE MAKES IT BY A LANDSLIDE!"

  • "all this happened because of me.."

and theyre gonna crack his skull open

  • @360Nomad And yet, creative liberties aside, this song still describes the thought process behind just about every war in history. "They're different from us, which means they can't be trusted"

  • @360Nomad Wow. Really I if you don't like Old Disney and like the New Disney witch is filth and garbage then watch a Hannah Montana video and get out of her ok?!

  • @snickerz911411 Disney always twists history or the original story to fit their views. That's true even with their best movies.

  • @360Nomad But still this is a KIDS movie. you think kids want the truth. if you don't like this then go away. also how was John Smith an asshole? I get it he was hanging out with the enemy but still. also in this movie tell me what was ugly about Pocahontas I thought she was pretty. Also she married a guy named James I thought it was John Rolfe. but anyway this still had a great life lesson. Think about it.

  • @snickerz911411 .first of all, learn how to write "which" properly idiot.second of all old disney was better but hardly out of his world amazing.new disney sucks ball but htne people like you exist ...

  • @M10663 Sorry but I'm still in school and have a learning PROBLEM which causes me to not concentrate JERK, Oh by the way speaking of my learning problem thanks for calling me an IDIOT, And second of all I LOVE old Disney I just hate the people like YOU who go around on a video and hate on something or someone, If you don't like the movie then don't go on the video and I'm Native American I don't like to hear "The real money was in Tobacco and Slaves" and "Native Americans got screwed anyway" Bye

  • @M10663 learn how to write 'then' idiot. LOL

  • @360Nomad I partly agree. I can confirm Smith was a troublemaker, but there's no real proof he was an asshole. You've seen Pocahontas w. your own eyes/through accurate portrayals? I've never heard of her as 'too ugly to marry off to other natives' which is harsh since she WAS 12/13. JOHN Rolfe is the Father of Tobacco, which came after Smith. He perfected it's cultivation. Initially, settlers searched for gold over food! Nor did they immediately have slaves. White indentured servants were first.

  • @vouvi01 I don't think it's that he was a jerk, he was most likely a liar. Who has three beautiful exotic princesses fall in them in a lifetime? I think he made up stories to sell his books in England. By the way, at the time of this story, Pocahontas would have been around 10 years old, bald (the children in the Powhatan confederacy had shaved heads) and naked (pre-pubescent children didn't wear clothes).

  • @Lilly5739 That's true. My whole point was more that, like you said, Smith wasn't really a jerk. I don't know too much about Smith to comment on the 3 exotic princesses, but on to Pocahontas; just because she would have been bald and naked and such doesn't necessarily mean she was too ugly to be married as 360Nomad stated. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. While society today doesn't condone public nudity, it was natural to them. I only wanted to point out that Nomad wasn't entirely correct.

  • @Lilly5739 Also, (I sorta ran outa characters) this is a fictional movie and I felt 360Nomad came across negatively w.out cause. The movie doesn't claim to be accurate. It was just meant to entertain. If people don't agree w. it they don't have to watch it. It's aimed for children, too. Most don't care about how accurate it is. And as we all know, Disney came out with Pocahontas II to attempt to make it more historically accurate. Disney knows it's not entirely accurate. It shouldn't have to be.

  • I LOVE this song I LOVE it so much I wrote on this to see how many times I can put I LOVE on a DISNEY song.

  • Do you remember wanting to run through the plains of Africa with Simba?

Swing through the jungle with Tarzan?

Go to the enchanted castle with Belle?

Go to the ball with Cinderella?

Ride a magic carpet with Aladdin?

    Save China with Mulan?

Shrink to toy size to play with Buzz and Woody?

Turn into mer-people and go under the sea with Ariel?

If you want Disney to bring back movies like these repost this note on other disney movies so th edisney copration might see it

  • 555,888

  • it is true

  • Bravo! You recreated all the drama and tension this song was meant to portray :-)

  • So much pollution

  • I never really understood what this was about when I was younger. but it scared me. Now that I do understand, it still scares me. But it's so much more. It's so full of emotions and truth.

  • <3

  • Stopped it at 0:52 completely by accident and I'm in utter fits. :')

  • meeko was my boy

  • British Guys - They're not like you or me which mean they must be evil.

Indians - They're different from us which means they can't be trusted.

I love this song but i now don't like being British anymore after the song. But then i have a cookie and thank god i'm British and make brilliant choc-chip cookies.

  • I love this! pocahontas is a great singer my fave part is at 3:37 when pocahontas comes in!!! so beautiful!! its so intense!!! :))

  • Oh wow... the English version is kinda rubbish! I prefer the Dutch one. More powerful!

  • Wow... this is amazing.

  • @brattygurl271 i agree :)

  • SANDWICHES SANDWICHES!!!!

  • @joysii Oh my goshh this made my roomates and I laugh so hard!! You made my day!

  • @joysii can't... unhear....

  • @joysii Bearly any Bread left! Lolxx

  • Right guys seriously - comment on the video, no arguements, no history

  • @finalfantasymad01 This video is completely related to history, therefore, to comment on certain areas of history is completely related to this (nicely editted) video.

  • my chillbumps look like ice sickles.

  • This reminds me of Iraq..... :(

  • the wonderful thing in this song is that they explain it very clearly. They're different, so they're demons. They're just afraid of eachother because they're different

  • god disney was so freaking awesome. like this and other old movies were just so epic looking bak.

  • This movie had more love and Pocahontas along with the rest (John Smith) were more human -w-. WAY more.

  • Am I the only one who's always thought it sounded like Powatan says "now we sound the drums of roar"?

  • this whole scene gives me goosebumps! i love this movie!

  • i kinda agree with the native americans the white men were only after greed

  • THYRE CABBAGES

  • were all human... if there is something we dont understand its automatically diffrent than us... and need to be rid of them...

  • OKAY I GOT A PROB PPL OF YOUTUBE IM KNEW TO THIS AND IM MAKING VIDS BUT IM NOT GETIN ALOT OF VIEWS OR SUBSCRIBERS :( COULD ANY OF YOU HELP ME OUT :) I WOULD BE VERY GREATFUL THANKYOU :)

  • This movie could have ended REALLY badly if that compass was broken.

  • @mstrisha191 youre a fucking idiot im talking about in present day

  • It still happens in modern society. American Indians the modern generation have so much hate for the white Americans. They don't see eye to eye. They both think each others actions were savages.

  • THEY'RE CABBAGES CABBAGES , BARELY EVEN HUMAN!!!

  • @jmk0991 It cannot be unheard O.O

  • I AM INDIAN I H8 U WHO SUNG THE ENGLISH PART!!

  • @11eatit Then you've missed the entire point. Do you really think the people they had sing this song felt this way? If so you're an idiot; your race doesn't matter.

  • @MentalMaladies no offence but no im talking bout the person on here like the character

  • @11eatit Could you please try and use proper punctuation, it's really hard to even understand what you're talking about.

Do you mean someone here commented on liking the English characters, and you're saying that comment was to them? If so, why didn't you reply to them specifically? Your comment didn't even make sense if it was referring to another commenter.

  • @MentalMaladies ok you must be dumb your saying u cant understand bad grammar

  • @11eatit No, I'm not. First of all, I said PUNCTUATION, there's a difference. Secondly, I'm saying your punctuation is so bad that it's hard to understand what you mean. Commas make a huge difference.

For example, notice the difference a comma makes between these two sentences:

    "Let's eat Grandma!"

    "Let's eat, Grandma!"

See how big a difference it can make? Punctuation can change an entire sentence, so learn the fucking English language you moronic cunt.

  • @brattygurl271 You're not supposed to kill yourself, dammit! Now I look like a sissy for crying by myself!

  • @brattygurl271 -cries like a baby-

  • @brattygurl271 I know.

Care to join me in some nostalgic weeping?

  • @brattygurl271 Yep. Now they're making re-re-re-re-remakes of movies no one remembers and sequels to movies no one liked.

  • I think Pohcahhontas shouldn't even help Jamestown back then x.X Look what happen to the indians...

  • I love the voice of Pochahontas' Dad <3

  • @TheInuYashaChick That's Russell Means' voice as Chief Powhatan. Look him up on google. Unless you already know who he is then never mind. But yeah it was the voice of Russell Means.

  • they should make american soldiers have mohawks that would be so badass

  • @TYthemShoes holy crap your right :D
