I don't think this prose would have been as effective in eliciting emotion if it wasn't read by Alex. The way that it abruptly just ends... it leaves this hollow feeling in my chest. His imagery and how commonplace the story is ... it's so wonderful to listen to.

I'm also a 15 year old straight guy and I can agree, this is beautiful. Alex Turner is an absolute genius, everything he writes, song or in this case prose is actually amazing. :D

He inspired me to learn the guitar and write songs and to be honest try and be more like him! :)
