  • @dadeskr

If you are replying to a comment, hit 'reply', or they won't know you have replied.

  • @revjimbob um, ok... i do though. I only reply to myself cause it messes up the order if I don't. Most people manage to work out that more than one comment may be aimed at them, but thanks for the advice all the same :)

  • @dadeskr but resent just in case

  • Comment removed

  • God did exist up until the exact moment Stephen said he didn't

  • @Millarmouse Gosh, that's funny.

  • Q: Is there a God??? A: let´s solve this question in the comment section on youtube and attack each others belief systems

  • what does he say? cant understand him

  • Stephen Fry is the final arbiter on anything, its generally accepted throughout the UK and Ireland that anything he says is fact. Ergo, God isn't real. Fuck.

  • @TheDominionOfElites And they say our schools are failing!

  • @TheDominionOfElites

    God isn't real. Thank Fuck.

  • @NORTHERNIRISHULTRAS2

Anyone that calls everyone a wanker is a wanker. so that makes us a pair of wankers.

  • @metafis

Always wondered why the word 'wanker' is used as an insult - it's like calling someone a 'breather'.

    Wanker.

  • @revjimbob good, because I breathed all over your mother's face last nite.

  • @hnjmio

You must be a fucking necrophiliac then.

  • @NORTHERNIRISHULTRAS2 be more specific ?

  • You heard the man! Everyone move on; we have important shit to do now!

  • Love Stephen Fry. Absolute hero.

  • @poshnile How so? He's very intelligent, and I respect him greatly.

  • @IAmTheSecretOfMana he´s not stupid he´s a jerk

  • @poshnile Why? Because he made a joke? Oh heaven's no!!

  • @IAmTheSecretOfMana because he´s an atheist

  • @poshnile Yeah... Yeah he is. Nothing wrong with that mate. Just another system of belief.

  • @poshnile haha such an ignorant reason..... im glad people like you have a ridiculous belief, it allows us to sort out the idiots from everyone else

  • @MrWiseburger and the idiots are the atheists

  • @poshnile read a book based upon some recent discoveries, not ridiculous spurious tales, and that alone shows how ridiculous religion is

  • One liner.

  • "Is there a God?"

"No! No, darling, get over it!"

    LOL! XD

  • Wow there's no God ive jus wasted 16 years...Holy shit that girl was hot

  • I'd rather form opinions based on proven research than on some historical best-seller.

  • @dashtk Ah cop on mate. We all know Harry Potter is real!

  • @dashtk the "best seller" bit they throw around isn't even accurate. most of the bibles people have been passed down, and they only buy new ones when they get too worn to read.

  • @oAzREZNoR You do know it was meant to be funny right? -_-

  • @dashtk THE historical bestseller!

  • what a legend lol

  • dont care bout god and that... i just wana know who the fit girl at the end is :P

  • @mattspaniard Frankie Sandford. She's in girl band 'The Saturdays'.

  • MATT SCHULTZ!!

  • As a devout "Yay Jesus!" Christian, I would just like to say that Stephen Fry is one of the most witty and intelligent, all round amazing people on the planet, I think he's a complete genius, and I thought that the way he delivered that line was hilarious! Quit the fighting, enjoy the awsomeness, or move on! <3

  • @bobothebearguy You're not very bright if you think Fry is a genius. He's nothing of the sort. He is just a very confident-sounding bluffer. He knows the answers because they are fed to him by the researchers!

  • @PrettiestDogEver Wow, you're kind of a huge cunt, kiddo.

  • @TheSlinkyGuyShow There's a clever boy. Help yourself to a winegum.

  • @PrettiestDogEver I HATE WINEGUMS

  • @TheSlinkyGuyShow Then have a mint, a toffee, liquorice allsort, jelly baby...

  • @PrettiestDogEver Lol, I know how QI and shows like that work, I meant a comedic genious, but well done for insulting the intelligence of a randomer you've never met in your life :D

  • @bobothebearguy I know enough about him to say he is not a genius: far from it. You, btw, have never met him but you still feel entitled to call him a genius. Hypocrite.

  • @PrettiestDogEver Try writing the "he is not a genius" comment once more but this time don't try not to come off as a cunt.

  • @Oxpost Guess how many flying fucks I give for your opinion, dickbrain.

  • @PrettiestDogEver I don't care how much you care. I just stated that you came off as a cunt. Which you didn't exactly change with that comment.

  • @Oxpost You are obviously too stupid to realise how ridiculous you are.

  • @PrettiestDogEver Whatever floats your boat.

  • @bobothebearguy Well, sadly your "brethren" are responsible for serious suffering BECAUSE of their beliefs...so we can't just "stop fighting" because the stupid will win(Religious nutjobs).

Nobody would give a shit if you were a christian/muslim/hindu/jew and if you would keep your religion in the privacy of your own home...sadly many think that their religion should be in everybody's personal life...and that's the problem.

  • No. No, darling xD

  • Ha, I love it when Stephen (or anyone, for that matter) gets all super-atheist.

  • You'd expect Fry to say there is no god, afterall he is a homosexual jew. btw i don't believe either, thought i'd mention that so you don't bombard me hate comments

  • @SouthernCross33 Stephen isn't Jewish, he's an atheist. And I'm pretty sure he was raised Christian.

  • @KittiMitties I saw him say once that he is jewish

  • @SouthernCross33 Type in to you tube Stephen Fry jewish and see what comes up 1st

  • @KittiMitties Type in Stephen Fry jewisg and see for yourself. It says Fry is a self hating jew

  • @SouthernCross33 His mum was Jewish, he himself is an atheist. Jewish people believe in a god, you do realise that, right?

  • @KittiMitties Winston Churchill when commenting on the jews who were behind the Russian Bolshevik Revolution said this and i quote "for the most part the jews involved are atheists" You do understand that right?

  • @SouthernCross33 When he said that he meant that the people who were thought to be or labeled as Jews were actually indeed atheists. A Jew is someone who believes in the Hebrew scriptures and the god Yahweh, and therefore Jews are indeed theistic.

  • @KittiMitties Theres plenty who identify as jewish but are not godly. This is fact, the reasons they do this is probably varied, but do it they do

  • @SouthernCross33 Jewish and Judaism are not synonymous

  • @DarkPrince0fWGTN of course not, jewish is an adjective, and judaism is a noun. but all jewish people practice judaism, and all who practice judaism are jewish

  • @DarkPrince0fWGTN from wikipedia "Converts to Judaism, whose status as Jews within the Jewish ethnos is equal to those born into it..."

  • @KittiMitties actually being a Jew is NOT the same as being Jewish, a jew is a member of a particular race not religion. Some members of that race may follow judaism, others may be atheist or whatever religion they choose. Judaism is the religion of their ancestors but that doesn't mean it must be there's, we don't inherit religion genetically.

  • @dadeskr This is gibberish. The only difference between "Jew" and "Jewish" is that one is a noun and the other an adjective. One may be a practicing or non-practicing Jew. Simples.

  • @PrettiestDogEver Ifyou get really good at it, you can stop practicing.

  • It is not gibberish, though I suppose it depends what you define being jewish as, i.e part of the jewish race or a follower of judaism, which are two different things. I think we are both trying to make the same point that you don't have to follow judaism if you are a jew/ to be a jew. At least looking at your last sentence I get that to be the case.

  • @dadeskr It is gibberish. Ask a rabbi.

  • @PrettiestDogEver So what do you mean by a non practicing jew? Because to me and to a lot of people a non practicing jew is a jew who doesn't follow judaism. By your definition all jews are practicing (following the teachings of judaism) so by saying one may be a practicing or non practicing jew is contradicting your point. It seems to me you say one thing and then say the opposite. That looks rather like you are the one talking gibberish.

  • @dadeskr admittedly I may be misinterpreting what you are saying. If so, sorry and please explain in other words :P. I still feel we may be trying to make the same point, ie that being a jew/ jewish means being part of the jewish race and you can be practicing (following the teachings of judaism) or non practicing (not following those teachings).

  • @dadeskr Are you completely off your rocker or are you just incapable of reading plain English? Please don't reply.

  • @PrettiestDogEver Well now I have to reply just to annoy you :P. If I don't understand you(which I admitted I might not, no need for insults) then its's up to you to explain what you meant. I still think we are both meaning the same thing, but your comment was confusing in that you said one thing and then immediately contradicted it. So that was hardly plain English, in the words maybe, but the meaning is confused.

  • @dadeskr I did not contradict myself. You are just too much of an idiot to understand.

  • @PrettiestDogEver yes you did. You first say that being a Jew and being Jewish is the same thing, whereas as far as I am concerned they are different, being a Jew means you have a Jewish mother and are therefore part of a particular race. Being Jewish means you follow the teachings of Judaism. So by that definition in your opinion all Jews are practicing. But then you go on to say you can be a practicing or non practicing Jew which contradicts your first sentence.

  • @dadeskr I agree with you on the practicing non practicing part, but not on the first part and I think we are using different meanings for 'jewish' you are using it in a racial sense and I in a religious sense and that is where the confusion is coming from. There is no reason to be rude to me when I am just trying to understand what you mean, that's pretty childish.

  • @dadeskr "Jewish" is just the adjective derived from the noun "Jew". It's plain English, you moron. You do not get to decide what the words mean. Your ideas are nonsense. See a rabbi: see an English teacher: see a shrink.

  • @PrettiestDogEver Like I said there is no need to insult me, its possible to explain something to someone politely. The only reason for calling me a moron is to upset me, and it wont work because I don't know you and don't care what you think about me. Words do have different meanings, I didn't decide what the words meant that was done before, as far as I am concerned and as far as a lot of other people are concerned Jewish means following Judaism.

  • Comment removed

  • Just because I define a word in a different way it doesn't mean I am wrong. It is a perfectly valid definition that I am using. I don't need to go and see any of those people because I know I am right, you can call me stupid all you like it doesn't change the fact that we are both right in that we are both just using different meanings for the same word.

  • by both right I mean that we agree that you can be a Jew but not follow Judaism. Which was my original point before we went off on this tangent of alternative meanings to words...

  • @dadeskr You are wrong, you dick.

  • @PrettiestDogEver No I am not, and there is no need to be rude over it. Grow up and learn how to have a discussion without resorting to insults.

  • @dadeskr Grow up? Son, you are one of the stupidest people. I have ever encountered. If my dog had fleas they would be smarter than you.

  • @PrettiestDogEver So according to you using a different yet perfectly valid meaning of a word is stupid, well, whatever, you carry on thinking like that. I don't mean grow up in an intelligence sense. I mean grow up and learn how to have a conversation without resorting to insults (which is a pretty childish thing to do). If I wanted to I could retaliate with insults to, but I know I'm above that.

  • @dadeskr Your definition of "Jewish" is not valid. I'm not having a conversation with you; I'm telling you to stop writng bollocks to me.

  • as it is used by other people besides myself, i.e. isn't 'my' definition it IS valid, just because you haven't heard of a different way of defining a word doesn't mean that that definition isn't valid. I assume you know all the words of the English language and all their definitions including the colloquial ones, right? Because if not you can't claim the definition I am using isn't valid.

  • Also as you keep responding to me it seems that you are having a conversation, if you want me to stop writing stop responding, shouldn't be hard to work that one out...

  • @dadeskr Speak to a rabbi. Ask Alexei Sayle, the Jewish atheist. Ask my non-practicing Jewish wife. But do not write to me again.

  • I don't need to, I know other people use the definition I used, I don't need anyone else's agreement or approval. But I'm happy to end this conversation here, we can agree to disagree. We are both right anyway so it's pointless continuing it, we wont get anywhere. Bye.

  • @dadeskr Yes you do, because they are authorities on the subject, whereas you, ever so plainly, are not. "Jewish" is just the adjective pertaining to "Jew". IT IS NOTHING ELSE. No matter how many other idiots share your idea. Btw if I give you my address will you send me a lock of your hair and some nail clippings? You see, I've made this doll...

  • Well if other people share my idea and other people use the word in the same way I do then that makes it valid, whether it is currently accepted by authorities or not, language is ever changing, sorry, and words can have/ develop more than one meaning. Accept the fact I disagree and there is NO NEED TO SHOUT ABOUT IT. You are getting worked up over nothing here. You could give me your address, I could send you something annoying, but I doubt I'll bother as it's not really worth my time.

  • @dadeskr YOU ARE A FUCKING IDIOT IF YOU THINK A NUMBER OF PEOPLE SHARING THE SAME STUPID IDEA MAKES IT VALID. Millions of people thought that Jews drank the blood of Christian children. 30m Germans voted for the Nazi party. There are even people who still think that Cameron is a good prime minister.

  • If a word has a meaning that is used and understood by multiple people that makes it a valid meaning. Your examples are silly, just because other people thought things that were morally incorrect has nothing to do with what I am saying and doesn't make me wrong. And besides you are talking about opinions, I'm talking about word definitions, totally different things. It's pretty funny how wound up you are getting over this, I'm only continuing cause its fun to piss you off :P

  • Just because other people have been wrong about things in the past doesn't mean I am wrong now

  • @dadeskr My wife and I have laughed hysterically at your stupidity. That you cannot even grasp the simple point that numbers do not make truth is awesomely daft, though not quite as funny as you're not getting the voodoo reference. Anyway, I have a very busy schedule so bye bye. And if you ever encounter a practicing Jew be sure to tell him he is also Jewish. Btw, did you know that Sammy Davies was a Jew?

  • Of course I got the voodoo reference, I was ignoring it. Do I have to tell you every time I get a reference, no. I'm glad I've brought you some entertainment (though it didn't seem you were laughing in your responses), the fact is, when it comes to language, numbers do make truth. The more people use a particular definition, the more true it is. That's the way language works :). You obviously don't have that busy a schedule if you can spend all this time arguing over a word.

  • As for Sammy Davies, yes I did, but why the hell does that matter?

And I know that outside of language numbers don't make truth, I never said they did. Language is a different matter altogether, but you are obviously to 'busy' to realise this.

  • @dadeskr Email info@bod.org.uk (Board od Deputies of British Jews).

  • @PrettiestDogEver What, because you are too lazy to explain what you meant I have to waste their time? And before you blame me for wasting your time realise that if you had just explained what you meant by your contradictory statement I would have gone away and left you in peace by now.

  • @dadeskr actually I did email them, so we'll see if they confirm my point or not.I'll get back to you on that...

  • @dadeskr That was the point I was trying to get at, thank you for putting it clearly.

  • To reinstate what I meant for people who can't accept words have more than one meaning. Being a Jew does not mean that you follow Judaism. There. Read below for pointless argument, seriously it's not even about religion :P

  • @KittiMitties I didn't identify him as jewish, he did that himself

  • @SouthernCross33 He identified himself in that video as a person of Jewish ancestry, and someone who was possibly raised Jewish. Even though I myself am an atheist I still find myself identifying with Christians, as my parents attempted to raise me as such. But Stephen Fry does not believe in god or any other sort of deity, as was made more than obvious in this video.

  • @SouthernCross33 Huh, I didn't know he was jewish.

  • @Jonstern1983 He says it, i've seen him say it, i'll try and find it

  • @Jonstern1983 Type in Stephen Fry jewish on you tube

  • @SouthernCross33 The only thing I got was "Stephen Fry self-hating Jew antisemitic remarks" Which was something taken completely out of context, and anti religion not antisemitic.

  • @Jonstern1983 HMMM ok, but don't shoot the messenger

  • @SouthernCross33 Who's shooting the messenger. I'm just informing you on what I've found.

  • @SouthernCross33

That is a backhanded passive-aggressive quietly bigoted thing to say.

  • @BluntRapture Why, it's the truth. All i said is, of course he wouldn't believe in god, he is homosexual and he identifies himself as jewish. Why do you ppl get so sensive about saying the truth about a person if they are homosexual and jewish? It's like you've taken pc to some ridiculous level. Lucky he isn't black as well.

  • @SouthernCross33

Why do you ppl get so sensitive about saying a person is homosexual and Jewish?

There are LOTS of people who don't believe in God that AREN'T homosexual or Jewish.

So what you have done is say something bigoted and then pretend you're just "telling the truth." Fry's race, religion, or sexuality has no place in this discussion--that's why it sounds so rude when you blab it out.

  • @BluntRapture Typical bs from a brainwashed p.c. robot

  • @SouthernCross33

It only sounds "typical" because you hear it so much because people are constantly having to point out your obnoxious insensitivity.

  • @BluntRapture Oh thats not very nice, i have feelings to. Dismissed

  • @SouthernCross33

Typical bs from a no-brained bigot.

  • @BluntRapture Look another brainwashed moron.

  • @BluntRapture They do have a place because his resentment of OT condemnation of homosexuals contributes to his attitude to God. Being not nearly as clever as stupid people think him to be he cannot separate the idea of God from the misuse of His name by certain OT Jews wishing to impose their attitudes on their people.

  • @BluntRapture btw i've never been said to be a backhanded passive aggressive bigot, i'll have to write it down

  • @BluntRapture Type into you tube Stephen Fry self hating jew

  • So that's settled then.

  • Stephen Fry is a national fucking treasure!

  • @0hoodster0 thank you! :)

  • God in the title of the video? Check. Pseudo-intellectuals engaging in pointless debates on the comments section? Check. One of those pseudo intellectuals are about to flame me for this comment? Check.
