Ingram lost his only fumble in two years late-late in this game after ripping off another 10 yards. UT was toast until then. This was Alabama's worst performance of the year hands down.

I'm with you on how football can affect your mood. As a Bama fan I was pleased that we won, but for weeks afterwards I had this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach because I began to doubt my team. But looking back now it certainly appears that Alabama was WAY better than what they showed in this game, especially when you look at the asswhipping they laid down on Florida.

Even though I am an Alabama fan, I agree with most of what you said. Tennessee definitely outplayed Alabama and should have won this game. I do disagree with the fact that Ingram is out of the Heisman hunt, especially after the showing he put up against LSU. Now for that onside kick, I was thinking that Bama's defense had to muscle up and make a play, and fortunately that happened when it did. Great game, Tennessee will be hard to beat in the coming years and more games like this will occur.

We definitely didn't play like a #1 team. Hell, when you're ranked so low (or high, dependent upon how you want to look at it) you feel some regular season games are to be treated in a passive manner (as a fan).
I watched most of the game shrugging off every mistake Alabama made simply because I expected them to pull away at some point in the game. However, when it came to the point in which they lined up for the kick, I actually couldn't watch. Hearing "BLOCKED!" was a godsend.
The Vols played a hell of a game. They may not have the ranking but they are a top ten team all of a sudden and ppl know it. They get better every week and i think they will win out the rest of the way i wish them the best of luck. Roll Tide!

Vol kicking game-This was always one of my pet peeves with Steve Spurrier. He refused to use a scholarship to recruit a good FG kicker. Florida lost a bunch of close games they should have won because of that. But I dont see the problem as being the kicker so much as the Vol Oline did not get the job done. Watch the replay of the last play of the game & watch how Bama stacked the line where Cody pushed thru. If the line had done their job, Vols win the game. You shud be eatin pheasant today!

I'm with you on how football can affect your mood. As a Bama fan I was pleased that we won, but for weeks afterwards I had this sick feeling in the pit of my stomach because I began to doubt my team. But looking back now it certainly appears that Alabama was WAY better than what they showed in this game, especially when you look at the asswhipping they laid down on Florida.

wrong on Ingram obviously, but when the onside happen I thought crap... I was almost sick when Crompton hit the tight end to get in it range. I really thought it was over then.
And though the game was close... it only became so due to Ingram's fumble. That doesn't happen, and Bama rides out an ugly but less exciting 12-3 win.
It was the season saving game though and another Bama vs. UT classic.

Even though I am an Alabama fan, I agree with most of what you said. Tennessee definitely outplayed Alabama and should have won this game. I do disagree with the fact that Ingram is out of the Heisman hunt, especially after the showing he put up against LSU. Now for that onside kick, I was thinking that Bama's defense had to muscle up and make a play, and fortunately that happened when it did. Great game, Tennessee will be hard to beat in the coming years and more games like this will occur.

We definitely didn't play like a #1 team. Hell, when you're ranked so low (or high, dependent upon how you want to look at it) you feel some regular season games are to be treated in a passive manner (as a fan).
I watched most of the game shrugging off every mistake Alabama made simply because I expected them to pull away at some point in the game. However, when it came to the point in which they lined up for the kick, I actually couldn't watch. Hearing "BLOCKED!" was a godsend.

Our playcalling damn near lost us that game. Tennessee didn't stop our Wild Cat running all game and our OC decides we should get away from it and pass. In the redzone instead of running the ball we tried passing it. Refs didn't lose the game for anybody. Cody won us that game plain and simple. Tennessee can't be number two Florida beat them too.
Like I said our OC tried losing that game for us.

yeah it was to you becuz we got fucking cheated by the officials for a win/ not just on that play but definatly on that play too. on a 3rd down screen to julio there was a plain and clear block in the back RITE IN FRONT OF THE OFFICIAL and it wasnt call and they go down and kick a feild goal. we got cheated. bama was holding, blocking in the back, and mcelroy QB sneak got pushed in the back by his running back/ thats a penalty, no call of course/

ok, well he did take it off before the recovery, but the rule book states its a judgement call not a mandatory call, like holding thats a mandatory call. If its bad enough then call it but shit. Sometimes you cry babys down there. You close the rule book and let the boys play. But good luck in the rest of the season

I have a question on the rule. I'm a bama fan and Cody took is helmet off like 3 seconds before we recovered the ball. If a flag was thrown would bama have still gotten the ball since they recovered. Or would the vols get a re kick? Anyways it was a great game. It should have never came down to a field goal. Bama winning 12-3 with 3 minutes left we did everything in our power to LOSE that game and should have lost but i was just wondering about the rules since football has a 10000000 rules!!!!!

im not sure on the ruling. ive heard its 15 yards and rekick, ive heard bama gets the ball, ive heard so many different things, i dont know. im curious though, even though it dont matter yall won, PERIOD.

i hope that comment wasnt made to me vols112, i made this video right after the game and i was obviously emotional..and it really dont matter, even if the call was totally a botch and we shoulda got another try, its not like they're gonna put everyone back in the stadium and rekick it..this sucks, i hate losing to them, but we cant do crap about it except take it out on spurrier..GO VOLS

It was a great game, UT has nothing to hang their head about...however, on the flip side...Alabama made some costly mistakes as well that could have changed the score. Both teams made mistakes...it is what it is...

how is ingram out of the heisman race? he hardly got the ball against tennesse. when he did he got like 8 plus every run and their was horrible playcalling. ingram almost busted off a 90 yd td but props to tennesse im glad we got a bye because we need it

he's never been on any of the heisman polls yet..i dont think, and that fumble will kill him in the heisman UNLESS he finishes very strong...keep in mind man, this was right after the game, i was very emotional ok. i hope he does well the rest of the way, he's a beast, but he got bottled up tonight by his standards.

As an Alabama fan, I have to say this is one of the funniest things I've ever seen on youtube. Respect goes to Tennessee for a hard fought game. I about had a heart attack. I would have to say I'm still not a fan of Kiffin, Good luck with the rest of the season.

You know Ur probably the only tenn fan that i Like, when it comes to class anyways. (lots of curse words in that vid though) Your right we should have lost that game, we got out played bad, but bama did what they had to do to pull it somehow and thats what championship teams have to do. Now we can get some much needed rest.
When the vols got that onside kick my heart just sank to the pitt of my stomach.. I Couldnt breath.

Vol kicking game-This was always one of my pet peeves with Steve Spurrier. He refused to use a scholarship to recruit a good FG kicker. Florida lost a bunch of close games they should have won because of that. But I dont see the problem as being the kicker so much as the Vol Oline did not get the job done. Watch the replay of the last play of the game & watch how Bama stacked the line where Cody pushed thru. If the line had done their job, Vols win the game. You shud be eatin pheasant today!

when Vols got onside kick my heart beat went up to around 100000000000 beats a minute, blood pressure was through the roof, and i was in need of a xanax. I said " oh fuck if they come back and win this game i will fall over dead" lol what a fucking game. Bama did everything wrong at the end and should have lost. Great game Vols even though i hate ya'll! RTR
