Don't join the military now. I come from a military family and I don't have anything bad to say about it, but I don't want to see more innocent people being killed and mamed. It is a lot more complicated than people just attacking us for no reason. I think you should study the reasons behind the attacks and the unrest in the middle east. Then you would know the root cause of this war, and then you would know what needs to be done to end the war. You cannot stop violence by simply getting revenge and continuing the violence. If you want revenge, fine, get revenge, if you want to prevent more american deaths, then you have to stop the violence.

I will look it up, but I can tell you that some soldiers support the war, and some don't. We should respect their opinions but we don't have to agree with them, they don't even agree among themselves! I doubt that I will easily be persuaded that we need to stay in iraq. It is not our country, we have no right to be there, it is a violation of international law (an act of unprovoked aggression), it is not about democracy or terrorism, and american lives are being lost. It is wrong.

Whatever he might personally think about black people (and I strongly disagree with your statement), he wants to end the incredibly racist and destructive War on Drugs, AKA America's Apartheid.

Don't join the military now. I come from a military family and I don't have anything bad to say about it, but I don't want to see more innocent people being killed and mamed. It breaks my heart thinking about the young kids coming back from that war with their limbs blown off. They'll have to be disabled for the rest of their lives and deal with the stares. They'll never be treated like the heroes that they are.

Because, they have there own agendas, And can't even do this to show what honor these men & women are doing for them & us with there lives!
