  • I agree with peterrabbit; and y save em when they can kill and eat u

  • brilliant! beautiful!

  • there is still hope !!!!!

  • What is so surprising to find Tiger in Bhutan. We have seen tiger in Bhutan since childhood. Go to hills of Chubjakha in Paro and you will see tigers. Bhutan does not allow hunting wild animal for fun being a Buddhist country. Only in Buddhist countries wild animals are protected.

  • They need to work with neighboring countries to send out crack mercenaries out to patrol these mountains, so that they can blow the poachers heads off.

The Chinese actually eat powdered tiger bones because they think it will make their cocks bigger.

  • Bhutanese people and conservation specialists have already collected evidence to confirm tigers discovered above 4000 m above sea level many years ago. and bbc team claimed of their first discovery.not true.

The team with money and sophisticated cameras walked in and claimed all the credits in one sweep. that is sad !

  • if you look very closely, the tigers up here has a thicker coat to keep them warm from the cold, they look a little different from the lowland tigers, noticed the really prominent fold of skin on the belly? some lowland species had them but no as prominent and dangling like these ones here..i believe they have been living here in isolation for a long time before they were filmed...a possible new subspecies? the himalayan tiger?

  • the Tigers went up there for a reason..TO SURVIVE and get away from crazy ass humans. Now they got exposed, nice job.

  • It's funny how he says, "these are the highest living tigers in the world", so matter-of-factly. When before he saw these videos he probably said the same thing about another group of tigers. We know so little, and think that what little we do know is cold hard fact.

  • Oh god Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh

  • And that's our tiger, in the land of Drukyul-Bhutan

  • she told me to "go read a book" on how the Chinese tigers are the "original ones" & "must be preserved as pure bred," presumably, so they could be released BACK into isolated Chinese zoos & small preserves, if such perserves are ever established in China. 'Tis why support should only be given to real experts with education who, like Rabinowitz, spend their whole lives trying to save wild tigers, by SAVING WILD HABITATS, not by breeding a few man-bred in captivity for feel-good, videography.

  • (that there's no such thing as "pure bred" except in human controlled situtions, domestically and in the wirld, when we isolate groups into smaller & smaller islands.... to her lack of broad (2) environmental issues & awareness [i.e. that tigers are not only mixing genes naturally, but that they don't really need humans to breed them; they simply need us to leave them some wild space to hunt, live, & breed as they see fit] ---

  • Watching real tiger experts like Alan Rabinowitz, I feel sorry for ex pop culture icons like that silly Chinese lady who took 4 or 5 Beijing zoo bred "pure, Chinese tigers" to a small preserve in South Africa, & is determined to in-breed "pure bred Chinese tigers" so someday they could be released back into the "wild" in China. I gently tried to point out the flaw of her strategy --- from her lack of (1) genetic understanding....

  • ITS NO SURPRISE THEY ARE LIVING THAT HIGH UP......HUMAN BEINGS HAVE PUSHED THEM FURTHER AND FURTHER AWAY FROM THEIR ORIGINAL HABITAT IN THE JUNGLES AND THEY ARE LEARNING TO ADAPT IN THE MOUNTAINS..AND NOW WERE CHASING AFTER EM AGAIN..I SAY HAVE MORE PATROLS AND BOUNDRIES AND JUST LEAVE EM THE FUCK ALONE LOL SAVE THE TIGER!!

  • amazing, they can live ANYWHERE.

  • save our natural world all of mother natures tresures !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thank you for filming this documentory and shareing it with foak like us i broke out in tears many time during the three days this was shown on tv

  • to those that are worried about poachers, we can be relief that the exact location of the tigers was not revealed to prevent poachers from going there..

i was so excited to hear about the news and i have downloaded the full series, i got to say that the tigers living high up the mountains look a little different from the ones at lower altitude, with thicker fur and looks a little more like the siberian tiger

  • man let the tigers do what they want..they are just going to make things worse

  • hey world help SAVE Tigers

  • How wonderful that there are people willing to do this sort of thing and film it for the rest of us. Great stuff! I think we should now declare open season on all poachers (shoot on sight!) and those who use, sell and obtain the ingredients for so-called Chinese "medicine" based on rare animal products.

  • Dont mind admiting I got a lil bit chocked up watching this show over the last three nights, truely sad and inspiring stuff. From what I could gather the number one priority for tiger conservation going forward is education of the Chinese public in relation to medicines using tiger parts and strict enforcement by the Chinese governement.

  • awesome program!! just saw the 3rd and final installment! The guys reaction to seeing a tiger was just momentous television!!! the guy talking to the family was he an ex military - he looks like he could have been?

  • Now that they have been found, poachers will also find them and poach them for their skins, claws and bone. Asia is the world's leading consumers in tiger products, believing they have medicinal properties to keep men in longer erections. Asians use tiger bone for making wine.

  • If you're seriously interested in helping the decline of this species please sponsor £3 per month to the cause. See WWF.

    Thanks

  • arr shit leave the tigers alone. These people are gonna destroy the tigers.

  • I could watch it just to see Gordons hair! =D Love it.

But yes, these "lost land" series really are amazing. I reeeeaaally hope they will air it in sweden too somehow.

  • Awesome

  • In college i'm studying animal care and i'm raising money to save the tigers!

  • infact they are found to be killed again..... poor tigers, the human will never let you live even in the heaven

  • @qadeer83 can you post a source?

  • If these tigers a newly discovered subspecies. Then I have a good name for them, It should be called the Himalayan Tiger and this is a good trinomial name for it if it is a new subspecies. Panthera tigris himalayanus.
