  • Who would dislike this? It sounded great.

  • you scared that t/a to death lol bad ass stang

  • LOL you got so scared when it started up

  • ...how many of you were like "wtf is up with the stance"...that is untill you saw the jackstands haha

  • more vidds of this thing..lol

  • you woke the trans am!!!! what other car has fog lights like that

  • This is The Best Sound i Heard All Year!

  • I was wonderin wat all u got done to that car motor and exhaust wise cuz i had a 383 stroker in a 91 lx hatch it ran good on racin i totaled it a year ago though and i want to buid another one the reason i ask is cuz i like how ures idles and cams

  • I was just about to say you paid 4k for some dang heads, cam then I read it again and you got PROBE pistons, Pro Systems carb probably 1000cfm, nitrous plate so I see where the rest of the $2500 went hahaha. Nice ride man

  • scared the piss out of that trans am haha

  • Sounds awesome.

  • set off the car alarm hahah pricelessss

  • What happend to your Mushroom head video? Id like to add it to my favorites. :) I got my car done also if you feel like it check it out..

  • looks like it scares the shit out of him when it fires up haha nice tho good job.

  • sounds good man Are u running rocker girdles, if not how often do u have to set lash on that since you went with a solid roller. Sick ride though ive put together more sbf fords then i can count and good look on the main girdle. U running a windage tray also how do those probes hold up ive always strayed away from them. Always ran moly's or diamonds. Ill be puttin a clevor together soon. Ill put a vid up

  • @boostaholic315 I dont got a rocker girdle.. I would go through the valves like once or twice a year.. nothing major. I dont got a tray in there. The probes have held up since 2006 actually. I think the front 2 rings might be on the way out but the pistons are fine, and so is the stock crank/rods (though they are .020 under)

Hope to see the vid soon!

  • @Snizzy2 thanks for the fast reply

  • @Snizzy2 Id invest in some nice shaft rockers. more stable, less lash adjustments

  • That cam is lopier than my left testicle!

  • more vids of smoking t/as and chevys

  • fuck the mustang i wanna see the trans am behind it

  • @jhopkins1516 fuck the trans am. thats why she started screaming like a bitch when the stang started up.

  • sounds awesome. It scared the guy that was starting it at 0:11. haha

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooww that has to be the best sounding mustang i ever heard!!!, i got a 86 mustang with a 331 stroker, and it dont sound anywhere near that! good job bro!

  • did you see how he jump a lil lol

    nice ass car bro

  • 2 words bad....ass

  • would be nice to have. but i thought monster truck cause it was off the ground haha xD really clean on the outside tho and great motor to back it all up!

  • haaahahhahahha! dude thats badass

  • I want this car, lol.

  • that is a very sick sound

  • if you dont mind me askin..roughly how much did it cost to build that amazing motor

  • @FoxBodyMike87

prolly around 3-4 in the motor.. it's still stock block/crank/rods (with a girdle).. .030 over with a set of good probe pistons and good rings.. heads are windsor seniors, and a solid roller, and vic junior, with a pro-systems carb + n20 plate system

  • @Snizzy2

soundz good wonder wut tha b303 soundz like wit open headers just mite half to try it but that stang sounds fukn mad dude sick stang

  • r u running a roller cam

  • @shanna690 solid roller yes.. comp cams 35-771-8

  • @Snizzy2 y the alarm goin off

  • he jumped when it started lmao

  • from experience. motor mounts match right up. its the same block. but yes the deck height is a little different. you have to swap hoods : /

  • hey man I've been thinking about swapping a 351 into my fox. Did you have trouble fitting the stock hood back on it while keeping fuel injection? Did you use different motor mounts?

    SICK FOX!!!

  • It's carb'ed with a 3' cowl hood. It had stock convertible mounts on it in this vid

  • It's next to impossible with injection dude. You can bend the hinges if you are hell bent on keeping the stock hood but you'll have a lip right by the cowl that will look silly. Stock mounts work. Tall deck height of the Windsor pretty much requires a cowl hood or cutting a hole in the factory one. Don't forget about headers too. Stock 302 headers will not clear the bottom of the car because the heads are higher too.

  • sounds so damn hard **thumbs up** coming from a honda owner and lover, cars amazing

  • Thanks! and it's all good.. I used to bag on Honda's all the time..

Now my daily driver is a 2001 modded GS-R, LOL.. times change

  • Hey dude what does "open headers" mean exactly? does the car have to be modified to have that? I have a 91 lx 306 foxbody with the following mods flat top pistons, comp cams (cant member the lift) cast iron gt-40p heads, gt-40 intake, frpp ceramic headers, dual friction centerforce clutch, 5.0 short shifter, 70mm TB, mac CAI, and a superchip on the computer. How do you get open headers?

  • It means that the headers arent connected to the rest of the exhaust system.. so it deletes the midpipe and catback... I was fixing the throwout bearing and couldnt resist starting it with the exhaust off

  • How do open headers benefit a good run? Does it bump up the hp?

  • depends on setup.. normally no.. you sacrifice low end grunt for top end power, but in the 351's case you would lose power all together.

  • u know you gotta good cam when your other cars alarm goes off lol

  • hahah thats hilarious

  • Sick ride, Snizzy.

  • haha when i saw the pic for this vid, i was like... WTF a lifted fox what a fag...

but i didnt see the jacks -_- lol

sick stang 5/5 for you sir

  • u can imagine how loud that thing really is when it cut off how much louder the car alarm got, badass car man

  • im lookin at buyin a 95 mustang with a 351w, with a carb...

i have to pass e check and i was wondering if u had any ideas?

    btw i love ur car

  • its that loud that it set off a car alarm

    awesome

  • @guitargodsor14 my brothers 40 hp toyota tercel without a muffler was too haha :P

  • wat would happen if i throw a 125 shot on a high milage 92 5.0 with jst headers and exhaust? any problems

  • I wouldn't recommend it. If it isn't burning oil and installed/tuned the right way technically you should be fine.. But thats in a perfect world, and these are Ford's after all, lol.

  • quick question... are you having hearing problems now? lol jkjk 5*!!!

  • That thing sounds like a beast! That's sick.

  • holly shyyttt that bitch is louuuuuuuudd 5*s man

  • dblast needs to show a little respect for the 351 fox. I think that 5.0forlife did a great job with his LX. Those are some mighty impressing numbers your putting down and it sounds very healthy. dblast is just jealous, hell I am.

  • is your combination good for daily use??

  • My car is cursed.. however this particular setup would be fine as a daily, pending you can handle 7mpg and would have to adjust the valves prolly every 1/2 year.

  • @Snizzy2 haha guess it just depends how hardcore you are XD

  • what is your actual lobe lift on the cam

  • Dude.. the setup is perfect... It's a nitrous street car. It runs find on the street. The Probe pistons are not gonna hit anythings. The LSA is perfect for a nitrous motor because of the scavenging, and the exhaust lift/dur further promotes a nitrous combination. The 3' dual exhaust hurts it on motor but helps on spray, the timing, hell even the plugs are cold ass race plugs with only .025 gap. This all equates to it only making right around 400rwhp on motor, but 587rwhp on 100 shot on pump gas.

  • dude like i said if you are drag racing only its great because a motor needs as much air as possible when drag racing, but to big of cam you run this risk of piston to valve interference right. Now with a smaller duration cam on the STREET you supply your motor with sufficient air, the right amount of overlap aka LSA, but if you are 1/4 mile racing you do need a big duration cam for high rpms,

  • I got 10:75:1 compression and I haven't hurt a thing yet in 3 years, that includes some 3rd redline to 2nd mishaps, when the trans was acting up before it was rebuilt. The motor is fine the way it is. It was built for nitrous and street and has been running fine for 3 years.

  • yeah it may sound good but i'll go for performance over sound anyday

  • dude the cam that you are running is to big for that, if you are drag racing that's good but if you are on the street you are cutting that motor's power off by a quarter

  • LOL.

    Explain yourself.

end of 4th is 150 @ 7,000rpm limiter I got. how am I cutting the power off??

  • i think your confusing power with gas milage if his set up is meant for the big cam he doesn't lose any power on the street. that doesn't make sense lol.

  • its a 357W so is it bored out 30 or 40 over?

  • 30 over

  • 30 over with a 400 crank right?

  • A 400 is a chevy motor.

    A 351W is a 4' bore and a 3.5' stroke. My motor is a 4.030 bore and 3.5' stroke.. a 408ci stroker based on a 351W is a 4.030' bore and 4' stroke.

  • haha sorry. im use to 383s in trucks.

  • didnt ford have 400 modifieds?

  • Actually Ford made made a cleveland block that had a big block bellhousing and made a slew of motors called the 351M's or modified.. they were basically a 400 destroked to a 351 for better fuel efficiency. If i remember correctly

  • @Snizzy2 the 351 cleveland is a 335 series block with SBF bellhousing pattern. Also shares SBF motor mounts. the 351m and 400 are BBF bellhousings and are an inch taller iirc. All are 335 series blocks.

  • But yes.. they did make 400's but that was the mid 70's smogger years methinks

  • yes

  • I thought Bronco's came with 400's from the factory in '79?

  • Not all of them.

  • geeez your fuel pump is pretty loud lol. is it an electric fuel pump?

  • thats fuckin SICK bro! thanks for sharing!

  • fuck the cops they suck

  • haha, my truck does the same thing when I drive by a parking lot and rev it up. the cops actually made me go home and escorted me one time all the way home, good thing the parents werent home, haha

  • tha stang will eat that t/a

  • fuckn hilarious that shit would have scared me too .....sounds like a beast!!!!!!!

  • haha you jumped when the car started

  • hahaha lol souns great!!!!!

  • ran my car with just headers for a while. not good for the motor.

  • why not? is it better to just straight pipe it?

  • its not good for the valves and stuff if i'm correct.plus low back pressure. i have straight pipes with a set of flowmaster 40's on mine. it runs alot smoother now.

  • yea if you dont have enuff back pressure you will burn the valves up. you should have a muffler if you want your valves to last

  • i was right then to a extent. haha. im only 16 and i plan on opening up a garage one day so im studying up on my car knowledge. i already built my first 5.0. took me two years. when i graduate in 2 years i plan on gettin another one

  • thats cool i am 17 but my dad has been restoring cars my whole life. you spend a cuple summers with him you will learn alot lol

  • Um...no

What you're implying is that back pressure helps control combustion chamber temperatures...the combustion cycle's a bit hotter than the exhaust cycle :)

Backpressure is irrelevant as long as the exhaust is set up to aid in cylinder scavenging between the exhaust and intake cycles

  • settin off the pontiacs alarm behind it hahahahahaha

  • damn it, it puts pit some good hp/tq. I have a very similar cam(242/248 and 576/600lift, with the fully ported and polished aluminum heads on 310 cfms on 600 lift, victor jr with 1 3/4 headers long tubes, and 10:1 compression. so i see what kind of hp i have. i was going for 400 the wheels on a C4 tranny...your car sounds good though man! good job!

  • u must be talk in bout the comp 35- 427-8?

  • you got it...stull have not found out what it makes, but just put some 3.89 gears and damn it, no traction at all...even with 275/50/17 tires. got love that tq though...have you ran your car at the track yet?

  • were did u get that cam? hydraulic roller? i am going to purchase the same probably. lemme know please!

    exact specs please.

  • Comp cams Part # 35-771-8

  • and you run nitrous with this cam right? like a 150 shot?

  • Yes I do, I only run a 100 shot...

I just redynoed It after rejetting the carb and tinkering with some things and it put down 540rwhp/578rwtq on a mustang dyno with the clutch slipping and letting out @ 5400rpms... It made 396/375 on nuts and still was wide awake @ 6500rpms.

Thats up from 476/582 from march with just some jets/spark plugs + indexing/spark curve change, and random tuning.

  • dam eh thats on nos im assuming haha!

what kind of clutch you have? i just got a centerforce 25lb its like a leg press haha. but just one more question what you run in the 1/4.? and what gear you running through the traps i see you got d/r tires what size are those too? i got 3.55 gears and right now i pull through the top end in 3rd on the shift light, but want to go to 373s.

  • Yea.. it should make around 560rwhp/600rwtq once the clutch is fixed....

I have a spec 3+ clutch and run 3.73's.I don't get to the track much.I did a best of 7.25@100.7mph in the 1/8th mile which would be bottom 11 @ 128+mph.. i ran 7.48@100.0mph first time out which was 11.38@126.4 but the other run I missed 4th.

Thats on pump gas, DRIVEN 250miles round trip, and on the heavy ass 17' rims you see in the vid. @ lebanon valley.

@ the 7200rpm limiter in 4th I got enough gear for 150 even

  • how many rpm's have you gone to im building a sick 374W stock stroke with a 4.125 bore im going aluminum rods and aiming for 8500rpm's and about 500rwhp w/o spray with a 250-300 shot and a built t-56 irs 92 gt should be a insane street car. Hopefuly it sounds something like this your car is sick

  • holy shit.. that sounds ridic... my car is limited by the iron heads.. N/A power peaks @ 6400rpms with shift points at 6600 and 100 shot peak power is down to 6100rpms with 6400 shift points.. It has gone up to the 7200rpm spark cut ONCE when racing a modded R6 which rounds out to be 150mph.

  • you got good parts in the bottom end? what about a main girdle? also what compresion you at?

  • I got a girdle, and a set of Probe forged 10.75:1 pistons.. stock .020 under crank/ .020 under rods.. <-- very non virgin... but its soon to be upgraded ;)

  • afr 205cc's in the near future? :]

  • You read my mind.. got any for cheap? ;)

  • lol I wish just the ones that are going on mine but they got a lil extra port work and titanium valves and retainers ;] Also try to find ones that have the nitrous exhuast port done from afr will help numbers when you spray. I'l look and see If i can find any brand new in box for ya, always glad to help a fellow ford guy out.

  • your putting down the money for aluminum rods and only hoping for 500hp to the tires? Pretty sure your a pessimist and when you dyno your engine you'll say "hmmm, that went better than I though"!!!!

  • yeah only 10.5to 11 compression 100% street car almost daily driver is what im going for. Bme custom aluminum rods should run me about 2g. I dont think thats bad for the rotating weight that its gonna save me. Also I'm aiming for low numbers but my mechanic asured* me I'll see better numbers then I'm predicting

  • if you build a 374w that actually makes its power at 8500 rpm youll over shoot your power goal by 150 hp

  • yeah i hope so and the cam should be making peak power right around 8300-8500rpm's. getting a custom sheet metal intake for the efi system so the manifold will be made to make power right at 8500, that with the jesel set-up and the aluminum rods im hopeing for good things, was gonna try and hide a dry shot on it but decided to go with a fogger cause the dry doesnt add enough power and still be safe. im predicting a mid summer completetion, cant wait!

  • i cant wait either post lots of vids!!! i always wanted to do rev happy 289 build and a 289 making power at 8 grand makes around 500 at the crank!!

  • love it

  • Ford scared a Chevy

  • That sounds soooo sick-deff run some cut-outs

  • i think he sacred the firebird ahah

  • your car is sick as hell, can't mess with 351w stang

  • dam sick man check out my mustang =)

  • WTF that thing is a beast

  • hahaha nice man!!! Thing sounds beastly w/ open long tubes. I swapped my 357W from my 86 into my new 89 Fox afew weeks ago. I'll post some vids up soon. I gotta say, such a big step up from the 302. it's a 357, Stage 1 Trick Flows, .530 Lift cam, Forged pistons, etc etc.... On a Land And sea Inertia dyno it put down 315 Horse and 358 FTLbs. Anyway best of luck w/ the car man.
