Not neccisarily. The Burj Dubai (in Dubai obviously) is the tallest man-made structure of this Earth and shall remain so untill construction of another "world's tallest building" is completed about a mile or so away from the Burj Dubai. Also. In 2010, when the Chicago Spire is completed, it will be the second tallest man-made strucure on Earth. :) Look those two up :)

Taipei 101 is the only tall building in Taipei. I am shocked by Taipei urban planning. There is no urban planning in Taipei. It seems that anything goes. However, I love Taiwanese people who made my trip there a memorable one.
