  • i have a baby crested geck in 5 gallon and a leaperd gecko in a 30 gallon tell me if thts ok plz respond

  • CRESTED GECKOS FTW

  • i agree with your title

  • if i have a heat pad doesit have to be on 24-7?

  • can u show me how u set up the heating system.. Im getting a leopard gecko on the weekend so i need some ideas.. thanks

  • get rid of that bedding..... for starters.... >_<

  • kind of skinny eh? Also, i belive you left out propper supplimentation. Calcium, D3 and reptivitamins. Freezedried foods expand in their stomaches and can cause digestive issues, the zoomed food has been disregarded by many keepers for its bad ingiredients. Genneraly its reccomended to keep them with atleast 2 hides, one needs to be humid so they can properly shed and you need not disturb them while they sleep unless nesseccary.

  • Please subscribe to me! I have two leopard geckos and getting a third one soon!

  • wow they look cut i want have one ;)

  • what are the size of thoses tubs could i have a

    18 x15 x 26

  • what about shedding? do i need to help them or type of hide for them to shed? ^^

    Thanks

  • Substrate?

  • please respond back is it ok if i use aspen snake bedding for my leopard gecko?

  • At 2:10 I noticed the gecko you picked up has wierd bulges on top of his tail. are those from him dropping his tail?

  • Are the beetles the superworms metamorph into edible to the Geckos?

  • can you have a heat pad with a lamp or do you need 1?

  • @bettaalpha sand is sand with or without calcium.

  • You should never ever use calcium sand your or regular sand your gecko might eat it

  • @AwesomeG1103 In the wild, eating calcium-rich sand can enrich the gecko's diet, the sand that many novice hobbyists use in their vivariums is silica, which does not contain any calcium. Ingesting this sand substrate can block the digestive tract.

Reptilite calcium substrate is 100% digestible. The substrate is made of aragonite, the most soluble form of calcium carbonate available. Ingesting these sands is safe and will actually provide the calcium the gecko is craving.

  • @BettaAlpha The calcium or any sand in a pet store is not digestible and can end up killing your leopard gecko or other reptiles such as bearded dragons so i use chips for my beardies.

  • How often do you feed them

  • @amazingwithguns basically daily. Although sometimes if I don't have crickets in the house I'll skip a day, so I feed them at least 6 times a week.

  • @earthling1984 Where can i find a animal expo near Goshen Indiana

  • @amazingwithguns i tried daily but mine will eat maybe 2 times a week maybe 3 times a week

  • i like unfinished tile. =P

  • Do J need a heat lamp

  • @matthewfree11 yes, or a heat pad, one or the other.

  • @earthling1984 your video's are awsome!!!!

  • i would like a gecko what is a good habitat can i use a plastic bin?

  • @b7u7g7 you can, but I'd recommend a 10 to 20gallon glass tank for your gecko.

  • Hi is it ok to u calcium sand in a tank?

  • excuse me. what genders should i put together?

  • The so called cages need to be bigger.even for one gecko the cage is to small.

  • You shouldn't have your gecko in that. Bedding because it can eat that stuff.I use this kind of green cloth type thing that covers the whole grown. ^.^

  • I am selling a juvennile leopard gecko. I am selling for 45 + shipping and handling. Message me your email and i will send you a picture of my gecko.

  • do you know how i could make money for the food? Im only 11 so nobody can give me a job

  • @Neilsstarwars i would suggest buying 100 for like a dollar...then breed them at home so you wont have to buy them.....just watch how to breed mealworms videos on youtube....its basically simple....just keep them ina tub with oatmeal bedding and feed them something like potatos. for the breeding part watch a vid on how to do it

  • The tail of my 4 months old leo is a bit too skinny, even though i feed her every single to second day and provide her with calsium. Any tips on how to make it fatter?

  • @fjellgeitofnorway just keep feeding crickets daily

  • I love your Enigma Reverse Stripe! I want one so bad but can't fin anyone anywhere thats not online. Im thinking about ordering one but I dont really like shipping live animals because of the risks.

  • will my cat or dog it them and how often do u have to clean there tank

  • how often do you have to clean their tank?

  • i wouldnt use mulch if i were u.. you should use tile

  • the one you pickup at 2:10 - Is something wrong to his tail???

  • @KickOrHit yes, I purchased her like that. She lost her tail as a baby and when it grew back it got a scar. She has very nice colors and if the does breed that wouldn't pass on to the babies.

  • do Lizard Geckos require the same maintenence ? & doo you Have to have a hot sopt of can it be even shoe box :) ? please answer back .

  • do you know any good places to get a leopard gecko? im going to an expo tomorow but im not sure my mom will let me get one. wsh me luck!

  • Thanks :) where can I get silkworms from cos I don't really wanna hear crickets chirping at night?

  • @Marklynx01 pet shops have those as well as mealworms and superworms and calciworms and probably others too. cheapest to order them online though rather then pay high price at the store. check out fluker farm website.

  • Im gonna get one for Christmas and wanted to know 2 things 1. Do they escape often and 2. What temperature do they need?

  • @Marklynx01 they don't escape if kept in proper cage. around 90F is good.

  • Do you feed them everyday, or is like feed skip a day feed and so on, or is it weekly?

  • @JayyzillaProductions most people will say to feed them daily. I have some dry food in their cage usually at all times, as well as calcium dish and water dish. But live insects I just feed about 3 times a week.

  • @earthling1984 Thanks, im getting all the information i can on Leopard Geckos because im getting one for Christmas and i want it to have the best life it could possibly have.

  • the flooring they can it eat it

  • You can also feed them from a bowl

  • best for beggines after bearded dragon

  • I don't get it! 9 out of 10 pilots I know like animals.I'm not hate'n on lizards I plan on getting one.

  • How big do they have to be to give them super/wax worms? Mine is 5 or 6 months i think!

  • Can you feed leopard geckos just mealworms instead of crickets? Along with super worms and dusting them with calcium...

  • @MrLenny129 nah, crickets are best as their main food. mealworms and superworms are very high in fat.

  • @MrLenny129 dont listen to him he is really wrong yes you can have mealworms as thier main food supply. crickets are good for viatamin dusting

  • I have a black pearl for sale (cheap) if u wnt to buy or trade comment me or message me bak

  • what should we do if our baby leopard gecko trys to bite us

  • what is better one single male or female???

  • bearded dragon and leopard geckos which is better?

  • what substrate did u use

  • @suppasolosis

    Can't you see it?

  • @suppasolosis aspen bedding, u can get it at ur petstore for cheap and they are typically made for snakes

  • @suppasolosis aspen, I also recommend reptile carpet for most reptiles.

  • how much are they

  • @julian5614life leos can cost anywhere from $25 to $200+ depending on color and age.

  • @Supergirl779 like most geckos when they are attaked predetors go for the tail. when it falls off muscels still move giving the apearence of a sucessful kill

  • u dont need humminity for leopard geckos there from the desert!!!

  • Thanks for the info, still thinking about what substrate to use:)

  • @swirly2107 welcome :) and reptile carpet is always a great choice

  • can leopard geckos be in the same cage with a bearded dragon? My nephew has a baby bearded dragon in the tank with his geckos and I don't think that's right.

  • @greenizDAnublaque no they can't, the dragon will kill the geckos as he gets larger.

  • how long do leopord geckos live

  • @make2C about 25 years? maybe

  • I have a bearded dragon!!! But I also want a leopard gecko.

  • I've got two bearded dragons that don't use a heat rock and I'm thinking about getting either one or two leopard geckos. Could I just place that heat rock into the gecko vivarium. Would you recommend getting one or two geckos and what size enclosure would he good. I like to give them space. My dragons have a pretty big tank but I don't want to over do it.

  • @UKCallum1 heat rocks aren't recommended, use a heatpad under the tank or a heatlight.

  • @earthling1984.. yeh im gonna buy a heat pad along with the gecko in a few weeks. the guy at the pet store said that i dont really need a heat light cos they dont like bright lights instead to get a dark spot light. it sounds good but there example in the store looks really dark so is there any form of lighting i can put in that doesnt 'scare' them. like a small UVB bulb?

  • @UKCallum1 an infrared heat light would work. You would be able to see in the cage, but they wouldn't be bothered by it. if you are using a glass cage, the rooms lighting should light up the cage enough for them during the day.

  • @DannyDDH One leopard gecko by itself is around 30$. So all 5 (including his male) is around 150$

  • @OreosRYum leave it on 24/7

  • @redsoxfan0034 aspen

  • what substrate is that ??

  • so just 2 superworms is enough for one day

  • @DannyDDH I really don'tknow the total cost, sorry :( i guess I should have kept records of that lol, but yeah.

  • Great vid and great geckos and for that im gunna

    Sub to ya

  • @TheSkateSofter thx :)

  • i use a minral riched dirt for my substrate

  • I used to own a female leopard gecko. She was really tamed. But then she had a disease and she died about 8 months after I got her.

  • hey earthling, do you think Big Apple Herp is a good place to get leo's?

  • @thewildkid4 I've never ordered from them, but probably ok, I've heard of the name before. I ordered most of mine from lllreptile.

  • @thewildkid4 I haven't used them myself.

  • Can you use heat mats with those plastic boxes? And what do you do for lighting with them aswell? thanks

  • @skillbotx2 I use heatpads, no problem so far. leos don't require any special lighting.

  • @earthling1984 Thanks. But what kind of lighting do they need then?

  • @skillbotx2 they don't 'need' any type of special lighting

  • Dude I was in the pet store staring a HATCHLING leopard gecko in the face and we were about to get it but when I asked mom she said NO! =( I've been wanting one for so many months. Is it true a baby eats 3 crickets a day?

  • Very cute geckos. :)

  • /watch?v=4Kxh2wlFz3w&feature=channel_video_title

  • My little leo gecko eats big crickets. Is that okay?

  • @reptile56782 should be fine as long as he doesn't choke heh

  • for 2 lepord gekos would a 10 gallon tank be big enough

  • @pokenija123 No, a 10 gallon would only be used for 1 leopard gecko. 10 is too little

  • DONT USE SAND

  • nice , but i seen you dont have a moist hide ? is there a time you put it in or something because i am getting my leo next week ?

  • @earthling1984 so kewl I hust got 4 leos 2 females and 2 males I plain on breeding when my females grow up! One of the females are Tremper Albino and a Reg. Tremper, the males are Bold Sripe and a mix with high yellow and patternless

  • can you feed them dead crickets?

  • @JFMUFC26 freeze dried crickets can be fed, but they can't be all that is fed. They need live crickets because live crickets have moisture in them, freeze dried crickets don't. Reptiles get much of their moisture from their food, so live crickets and insects is very important.

  • @earthling1984 thanks for the reply, the information helped alot.

  • I know Corn snakes are considered a good beginner snake, but I dont think I could feed mice to them, so what do you think of Ribbon snakes as beginner snakes? ve heard they only eat fish, worms, frogs, and such.

  • @bekasoftballgirl yes, a ribbon snake would be fine.

  • @bekasoftballgirl florida banded water snakes would also be a good choice.

  • I really want a leopard gecko but I'm not sure if my tank is good enough for 2,

So could you (reader of this comment) please check it out if you know something about them. It's my newest video! (please don't flag for spam this comment because I want as much possible people to tell me what to do! Thanks -Oskar.

  • @MrJohnyboyboy dragons need a variety of foods. One thing should not be fed always. Crickets are an important part of their diet.

  • how would i control the cool side

  • @Shafeen0506 you don't really have to, room temperature is fine. You just need to heat up a portion of their cage so they have a hot spot, then it will gradually get cooler as they move away from the light/headpad. So they can choose what termperature they want to be at.

  • @earthling1984 thnx dude =D and another question, 4 the tub how would u properly ventilate it. blogs and guides say u need a screen top.

  • @Shafeen0506 drill many holes into it

  • how much do u sell them for?do you ship?(i can pay for shipping)

  • wow idk i really really want a bearded dragon but these little geckos seem awesome too

  • How much would it cost to get and keep a leopard gecko? I already have an aquarium I could use to hold it.

  • So u dont neeed a heat lamp? how long have u been keeping geckos? how old are the geckos u have?

  • @backslap423 you need a heatsource, that can be a heatlamp or a heatpad(heattape, heatcord, etc.). I've kept geckos on and off my whole life. The current ones I have owned for a little over a year, maybe almost 2 years.

  • i just got my leopard gecko today ! Izzii : * Shes really sweet girl : *

  • @raychfbabii cool :)

  • i just got a hatchling and its white with brown stripes. do u no wat kind of morph that is

  • This is a great video and has answered a lot of questions for me. I am purchasing my first leopard gecko after christmas. I was wondering if you could demonstrate how to sex them? Thanks

  • @misscherryxx I will try to make a video on that soon. I will need to get some good pictures first.

  • whoud you say paper towel is just as good a substrate as reptile carpet

  • @Booznstuff paper towel does work just fine too.

  • i have one of those orange one and hes around 3. i love him

  • What is the best substate 2 have

  • @iGeckoMan reptile carpet

  • I have two leopard geckos. They are about both 8-9 months old. I was thinking of getting another but I don't know how the two that have have will interact with a baby. Are these guys usually aggressive towards younger/newly introduced leopard geckos?

  • @HaunaMyKiki It is best to keep them together if they are of same size. If the size difference is too much you may run into problems.

  • wat substrate is that

  • @soccerplayer125 Aspen, but I would recommend reptile carpet.

  • how big cage for 2 geckos

  • @gsd767 10 gallon would be sufficient, 20 gallon would be best.

  • @earthling1984 whts tht in uk terms

  • @gsd767 37 or more liters.

  • @gsd767 i ment in inch or cms

  • how do u set up these tubs?like the air holes and stuff?

  • @treywillett96 This rack came all setup and built. I did use a drill to put some extra air holes in the tubs though.

  • Do Leopard geckos bite people

  • @SexiFreshJerk I've never had any of my leopard geckos bite me. Most of them are calm and easy to handle as long as you take them out every once in a while so they continue to stay used to humans.

  • do you always have to buy them in pairs? like 2 females? or 2 males?

  • @TrueSurvivalist no you can buy one.

  • Did you say "They won't pull off ..." or "They will pull off..."

  • @XamSalamanca u mean the tail? they will pull off.

  • And do they eat veggies?

  • @XamSalamanca leopard geckos don't really eat veggies... mostly just insects.

  • @earthling1984 Ahhh.. do you provide a source of Calcium? Cuz I heard they need alot :)

  • @XamSalamanca yes I do

  • I'm planning to buy a pair. I just have a question, I heard superworms bite and may actually kill your pet, true?

  • @XamSalamanca They can bite... almost anything can bite... I've never heard of them killing pets though.

  • i am thinkin about breedin my leo's and i no how to breed them ive done research but i want to no if it is not worth it i have all the supplies also

  • @mrhollywood233 it's really up to you :)

  • were do u get those bins for ur leopard geckos

  • @mrhollywood233 boaphile plastics

  • what is the best beginner snake to start off with? and would a leopard gecko be ok in a 10 gallon tank?

  • @TigerLilly099 cornsnakes and sand boas make great beginner snakes. a single leopard gecko is fine in a 10gallon.

  • Do you use any type of heat light/pad for your geckos?

  • @flamingosunlimited yes. Headpads.

  • Hey, my brothers birthday is tomorrow and he really wants a lizard, well he has had a few lepord geckos. but he wants something different, I was l thinking a bearded dragon.. is that a nice friendly lizard???
