Actually flexing your stomach muscles makes you stand straighter, and it's probably habit from working out so much (you have to tuck your lower ab muscles in).
Also, tucking in (she's not sucking in, otherwise her ribs would be sticking way out) isn't bad, because it's a great way to tighten your lower ab muscles, and it makes your waist slimmer.
