  • @DeeDonner uh, yeah.... I think your translation program needs an update

  • Thanks! Great video and interesting information on the Fuji-san. The background music sounds like "Rinken Band" from Kyushu. I like that!

  • Too much talking. Where's the peak?

  • i went here and wondering is mt.fuji a volcano???and is it dead??

  • Anyone want to have Japanese lesson?

  • Thanks. 5 seconds of video of Mt. Fuji, and 20 minutes of some dude talking. Just what I wanted.

  • ah, shaddup, you over-exaggerating muppet

  • I will be able to climb Mt. Fuji this summer, of course I'll take some video.

  • Nice close-ups! There's really not that many videos of Mt. Fuji through that perspective, from an aeroplane, so you made yourself special :)

  • the mountain was beautiful. I want to go to Japan and go sight seeing and climb Mt. Fuji

  • Thanks for sharing Dave, can't believe the person in front of you didn't take full advantage of the view!...i'd of been glued to the window watching Mount Fuji :)

    Peace

    Pete

  • best video ever!

  • thank you! That was a very nice comment! ;)

  • Wow! That's beautiful!!

  • nice video .....exelent

  • great video and great view of the mountain!

  • nice shot. how was the weather in kyushu?

  • the week I was there, it was mostly cloudy with a bit of rain

  • ahh, i figured it would be beautiful weather for some reason. i always hear about how nice kyushu is and the beautiful beaches.

  • Good shot you got there. I didn't know about the volcano part.

  • The mountain looked great! I hope to be one of those 200,000 hikers this summer....or maybe next summer :)

  • yeah, me too but I keep forgetting or getting too busy!

  • Nice!

  • beautiful mountain and view!

  • That was more interesting than I thought it would be.

  • Awesome footage and thanks for the fun facts!

  • Cool! I haven't seen Mt. Fuji yet, but if I ever get back up to the Tokyo area I definitely plan on checking it out. Down here in Kagoshima we've got Sakurajima which throws up smoke and ash on an almost daily basis. It's not a lot, but you notice it when you're downtown

  • good luck! That damn mountain can hide real easily sometimes!

  • Nice footage and commentary!

  • thanks!

  • whats the name of that song...

  • beautiful okinawa - i think.

  • nice view. which airline did you use to go to kyushu?

  • Skymark - real cheap - 23,000Yen but I had to purchase it a month in advance.

  • awesome....no clouds...perfect

  • yeah, I was lucky! the week before I was in Hakone famed for its Fuji views and the whole area was covered in fog!

I was at a english school camp near Fuji once and on the first day which was relatively clear I couldn't see the mountain at all. The next day - boom! - there it was as though it magically just showed up over night!

  • yeah the clouds are so low in Japan...It seems winter has the clearest days to see fuji in the hakone area...in spring i could never see it
