B) My state is filled with enormous tax cuts for business, slave wages for employees, a complete lack of any rights or recourse for those same employees, and we are still experiencing a shortfall in our budget and a steep rise in our debt (in fact, its rising faster than the national economy). What's better about that?

But we do lead the country in the number of minimum slave wage jobs. Most of the people in my office have to hold two jobs just to survive. So don't lecture me about what a "great" job Perry is doing for Texas...I live here, I deal with the realities of the disaster Rick Perry has steered this state into every day.

@jshkendra You know that retiring the space shuttle has been the plan as far back as the Bush Administration, and that the new fleet of spacecraft to replace the shuttle was going to take a decade to be ready under Bush's plan....right? B) My state is filled with enormous tax cuts for business, slave wages for employees, a complete lack of any rights or recourse for those same employees, and we are still experiencing a shortfall in our budget and a steep rise in our debt (in fact, its rising faster than the national economy). What's better about that?

@jshkendra Actually, Texas is only slightly below the national average in unemployment. New York has less trouble with job loss than my state. But we do lead the country in the number of minimum slave wage jobs. Most of the people in my office have to hold two jobs just to survive. So don't lecture me about what a "great" job Perry is doing for Texas...I live here, I deal with the realities of the disaster Rick Perry has steered this state into every day.

I'm sure its great to be a business owner in Texas, what with the obscenely high tax breaks and the complete stripping out of worker's rights, but to be an employee in this state is absolutely miserable. That's assuming you can find work at all. Friends of mine in Arlington and Dallas have been searching for over a year now, with no luck at all. So spare me the tripe about the 'Texas miracle'. If not from perry, then what would be your ideal image for lets say governor? And allocation of funds and the budgeting of funds in certain cities are horrible which have outcome on jobs. Like where im from, the schools allow you to get out of school 2 weeks early than usual under certain stipulations. Our highways are in sub-standard condition and need repair. and health now thats another issue thats got alot of different factors and more complex than we both have time to discuss.

A president cannot simply attack any country he wants for any reason. He is supposed to be bound by the rule of law. In the US, only the Congress can declare war, and no one is justified in "going to war" unless it is for self-defense. Libya did not attack the US or NATO. The US military is not the president's personal army to "take out" people he doesn't like. Obama should be impeached immediately just for bombing Libya.
