@Thorobred4ever ive only come across the final fantasy series after buying the latest one, final fantasy xiii, and also seeing minor characters from kingdom hearts, and then i started looking up more and more about this game, and all the turks, the crisis core, before crisis and others, and i can honestly say, im a little obsessed with it XD i love the turks and reno is my favourite XD but this game has the best storyline ever and i really hope they remake it (: -end rant- :P

Barret breaking down after Sector 7's collapse is one of the many reasons why I desperately want FF7 remake. It's emotional already, but I think some solid voice acting and animation will make it even more powerful. Kind of like the way Crisis Core redid Zack's death. :/

The part that made me start hating the shinra.

After the plate falls, walk up to the tv in the house with the little boy upstairs.

Shinra says,

That was one of the saddest damned parts in the game IMHO, and I hated seeing Jessie being killed off.  Hard to imagine how wanton murder and destruction could correlate with the whole "divine justice" idea.

Ya know, the reason they aren't remaking this for PS3 isn't that they don't want to. - hell, they've stated multiple times that it would only benefit their company and generate a lot of money - it's that the PS3 disc is too small to hold so much data required of such a large RPG; the graphics that come with next-gen consoles force companies to limit the games due to space issues. In fact, it's the same problem that led to this being on the PS1 instead of the N64; the N64 catrdige was too small

I love this game so much. thank god the ps3 shop has this full download so i can play it. My original disc is all messed up and whenever i try to play it has the wrong sound effects for everything and it freezes before i can even leave midgar. I only played the ps3 one about 1 day and i got farther than i ever have before.

Crisis Core is a prequal to the original FFVII. There is a prequal to Crisis Core (making it a prequal to a prequal) and its alled Before Crisis: FFVII. Before Crisis was released in Japan and it was only a Cellphone game. A true Sequel to FFVII would be Dirge Of Cerberus and after Dirge Of Cerberus, Advent Children FFVII (this is a movie) sets in. After Advent Children, your riding around the barrier of where FF8 starts. Yea, its kinda complicated but an interesting storyline though...
