casey say mikki instead of mikey. the building moved. April said donnald instead of donny. Gangala instead of goongala. The purple dragons dissapeard. April didn't care when the said casey got killed. Casey's voice from april's mouth. And when she was standing perfectly still when the truck exsploded.

I love working out plots before they unfold, especially when they're as well written as this.

Its probably the best episode of the season so far.

I did think the cat looked fishy, but I wasn't expecting it to be Shredder.

This was a tiney bit like the matrix.

Still, the turtles have managed to mess up the future big time. If viral didn't zap splinter, donnie would never go into cyberspace and the red shredder wouldn't be trying to return.

Returning from the future always changes stuff.

The 80's cartoons that rocked where the ones that David Wise had a hand in writing or directing. The ones that sucked didn't have and David Wise influence. I'm sure there is an exception or two. But as a rule its wise to watch a Wise cartoon and they only go down hill with ne left to work on another 'project'.

That's why he sucked as a villain though. The 2K3 Shredder was badass and didn't take any lip(unlike the 87 Shredder, who never did anything when Krang insulted him).

Also, the old cartoon isn't the original, the comics versions are.

I agree. Seasons one to four were the best, in my opinion. The art was better (except maybe for the turtles' eyes and the color of April's hair), but also, the general atmosphere of the series was darker and more realistic. I liked TMNT because I thought the characters' personalities and interactions were well developed, and there was enough drama to keep me interested. Now gadgets take too much place. *sigh* I wish they'd make a TMNT anime with more episodes in the mood of SAINW...

Yeah, the animation was best before the "lost season" with mystic ninjas and magic. At least that season was good though, fast forward was only half decent, on btts is almost bad.

You're right, the drawings in lost season were ok too and, even though I preferred when there was less magic, it was still good. It's more with FF and BTTS that the animation became, uh... considerably cheaper-looking. ^^'

Im not sure about cheaper looking.. just... I dunno, trying to look more modern I guess and it was a mistake. The old comic book look was much better. At the rate of decline I really cant see the series lasting more than maybe 1 more season after btts, if that and its a shame because tmnt was a really good series.
